Liberty Prime VS. Optimus Prime

As I have mentioned before, Optimus, if we are including the series, was one of the few autobots that could independently fly. He used boosters to increase his speed, but he could fly. If we were take that into account, I believe that, eventually, Optimus would win due to planning and tactics. Optimus also has higher capability of thought and reason. Liberty was and is more of a programed robot. Optimus is more of an independent thinker. Strategy is a big part of the equation. I hate to say it, as much as I like Liberty, Optimus would win in the end.

off topic: the Fallen would kill anything in his way he only needs to look at liberty prime before he goes crying back to the citedal, thats means optimus would have to attempt to kill him.EDIT: should we get iron man involved? ^^

To be fair, Optimus Prime is in the genre of super hero like characters that work in teams. In a lot of those kind of team you'll notice it takes a joint effort to beat the bad guy. If Optimus was created to be a BAD A** loner, he would kick the crap out of Liberty Prime. His movement seem more human then robotic, giving him the ability to dodge things better and he's so much faster that all he would have to do is run up and pull him to pieces.

 

Have you ever seen Liberty Prime through a nuke? He throw's it like a football! If optimus prime ever tried to "tare him to pieces" Liberty would, without question rip his throat out.

Maybe he IS caveman but take a look at this.While Optimus is agile he needs to stop, aim his gun and fire.Liberty can shoot lasers at ANYTHING that is within his eyesight using his eye-mounted lasers and can turn his head quickly enough to target Optimus flying!

This would most defenetly give him a first strike chance meaning that he would begin a streak of attacks on Optimus!Even if the lasers can't realy kill Optimus they can occupy him while Liberty tosses a freaking NUKE at him!

Exactly! Especially the thing about walking and shooting. Plus, Liberty fires multiple laser rapidly, while optimus only shoots a pathetic, one at a time.

Stop and aim? Hah! Optimus can shoot from the hip pretty well, even while running. He's pretty damn tough, too, Liberty's nukes wouldn't do much at all to him. He's also faster than Liberty Prime can keep up with even with his lasers. And he can fly.

 

Let's do a Deadliest Warrior style run-down:

 

Liberty Prime's nukes vs. Optimus Prime's toughness and speed: Advantage Optimus

Liberty Prime's laser vs Optimus Prime's cannon: Advantage Optimus, since Liberty would have a hard time hitting Optimus with his.

Liberty Prime's strength vs Optimus Prime's strength: No contest, Optimus wins here. He's clearly bigger and stronger.

 

 

Optimus rushes Liberty in truck mode, easily dodging lasers and nukes. Then, using the explosion from one of the nukes for an extra boost, vaults up into the air, transforms, and puts several cannon shots into Liberty's head and the nuke rack on his back. Liberty goes down, and as he's trying to get back up, Optimus lands on him and starts pummeling. Liberty is finished.

 

Megatron would easily win a fight against Liberty Prime as well--he's just as fast AND his gun is bigger. Hell, Starscream would mop the floor with him. Soundwave may not look like much, but he'd beat Liberty too: while Liberty's dealing with Laserbeak and Ravage, Rumble would orchestrate a fall Liberty'd never get up from, and likely bury him under rubble. And don't let Laserbeak's size fool you, either: his lasers are powerful enough to incapacitate full-size autobots, so he'd be a threat Liberty Prime simply couldn't afford to ignore. Soundwave himself is no slouch either, though his weapon's fairly weak, with his minions distracting Liberty he'd close the gap, find a weak point (his specialty) and exploit it.

 

So Yeah. Transformers 1. Liberty Prime 0.

 

Of course, let's bear in mind that Liberty and Optimus would really be on the same side, and in a massive battle between the bots, Liberty would still be a valuable ally despite his flaws (he's bound to hit SOMETHING if he spams that laser enough, and so much the better if it's a decepticon). After the battle, Optimus would undoubtedly welcome him to the team, and have Ratchet work on fixing Liberty up so he wouldn't be such a sitting duck.

but then optimus has a bit of common sense when he is getting ripped a part to go hide and finish it like a sniper, sneaky and clever EDIT: if the fallen was fighting liberty... CLEAR winner

We all need to face fact's: Liberty Prime would beet the poo out of Optimus, and would laugh while he step's on his flashy face. Optimus would put up a very strong deffense, but in the end, Liberty would throw a nuke while optimus is using his "Tactics" behind a building that he was thrown into and get pelted streight in the head. DEAD!

on the other hand optimus would think " forget duck and cover i'm going to shoot that mo fo" he gets his cannon out and blows that giant robocop's head off. The End.
