Shakkara
Sheep? There aren't any creatures or plants from earth in Morrowind, so why do you guys think it's a sheep?!

Luminus
Yeah exactly.....it has to be a sheep, it couldn't be anything else. Unless some supid NPC has places a damn tape-recorder, playing the sounds of sheep out in the ashlands.
ThetaOrionis01
Actually it's not the sound of a sheep at all. It's the mating call of the invisble dragons - just ask Maiq about them
Pob
Has anyone though that maybe there where supposed to be sheep in morrowind orignally, the just got left out and the sound didn't. Failing that like the 100% Chameleon sheep

Jetty
OK folks here it is. Did a bit of scientific research and this is what I found.Go to the directory on your HDD you installed Morrowind into. Follow this path: ...\Data Files\Sound\Fx\REGN and listen to 'howl7.wav' (PC users only - don't know anything about Xbox). Listen to all 'howl...wav' and try to imagine which creature can generate such sounds. IMHO they all are background noises you hear while travelling country roads - especially during nighttime and are not made by any visible creature on Vvardenfel. All animal-made noises are kept in another directory ('Sound\Cr\...').Maybe somebody has an idea what 'REGN' stands for?
ThetaOrionis01
REGN = region You can save time by loading up the editor and checking the sounds out there - they're in the 'gameplay' menu
wesaynothin
Personally, I agree with Theta. It's the dragons. :P But, how come they never bump into you by accident?
