What's on your mind? More space when you've got a lot on your mind.

There's too much to write in my, "What's on your Mind?" space.

My thoughts this morning? Hmm? Well at 5:40 AM MDT I broke my driving record, driving a long time by a few more hours. I also broke my fully alert status by one or two hours. I drove the car from 10:40 AM MDT Tuesday July 29th until Wednesday morning.

I took a roadtrip to get my cars transmission seals all reset. The label on the sealant said I needed to go just a couple hundred miles.

While I was on the road I decided to go to Kettle Care Organics near Whitefish, Mt. I wanted to get some of their "Wanted : Robber's Room Mist, 2 oz.". They were closed when I arrived at 5:06 PM MDT.

I was planning on spending the night, rather then drive the 214 + miles back, but after I drove around I discovered all the Motel and Hotels were NO VACANCY. Darn Tourist's! We love em!

I stopped in to visit the West Glacier Entrance shops. Found a new pair of Long Johns with a the flap on the back flap. I bought some coleslaw, a roast beef sandwich, and a bottle of Huckleberry sparkling soda pop from the Glacier National Park Deli.

While I pondered sleeping in the car... Yeah! I discovered I can manipulate the drivers bucket seat into a lounge chair position. Gamers Sleeper chair style. :geek:

I decided to drive around for before I lighted anywhere for evening. I then planned to stay in the Glacier National Parks camping area. Bunch of wildlife was running around starting fires and roasting marshmallows so my night vision was being interrupted almost like being blinded while fighting dragons in Skyrim. All those flashing burst of flaming marshmallows.

I rested and ate the remainder of the coleslaw and the last half of the Dagwood sandwich. I tried parking in a quieter place, but cars kept rolling by with their lights on.

I wondered, "All the bears have gone to bed so why haven't all the humans?"

I barely had time for my eyes to adjust to the dark before another vehicle would pass by. I decided to return to Whitefish, MT. Search along the way for better quarters to rest. I ended up deciding the car noises, at times, needed my attention in the garage. I decided to drive back to my Lil white 25 ft by 35 ft house.

423 miles later the car and I were out front. I used a whole tank of gas and I discovered the cars gas usage was 28 miles to the gallon on the highway/freeway routes.

The 2006 Cadillac XLR is making sounds that suggest I best get it into the garage and do its 50,000 Miles updates with changes of all filters and fluids.

Ooo! As I write it's already 94 degrees Fahrenheit.

Where are those brave young mechanics who will work in a building that will make them sweat like a yard lawn sprinkler that do really good work for barely any money when we need them?

Slaves! I need young Slaves! :armscrossed: Just kidding. I am going to do the work myself. Ooo! That makes me my own personal slave! Good enough!

HALLOWEEN

I surfed to and explored several Halloween stories at websites.

It appears that in the UK some folks prefer to hold a peaceful evening of quiet and think of the good times they have had.

Some people pray for, Wishing their ancestors and friends, spirits get to go to a better place and no longer linger on Earth in limbo.

Some traditions set places at their tables so they can engage in a traditional meeting of the living and the spirits of their family and friends.

What's your family tradition on All Hallows Eve, Hallow 'en, Samhain, or Halloween?

 curtain stage right What Play is on your Mind?! curtain stage left

Hmm, not much right now? Just bored-ish so messing with my SO.

He's in our bedroom upstairs atm, trucking on Truck Simiulator on Steam, sooo...I'm being my dorky self and sending him nonsensical messages.

Think... Lol-cringe-worthy pick up lines, demands for his ASL, and then disappointment when he responds that he isn't, in fact, 18/F/CA.

I get weirder at night. Ha!

...

Fiance-bro, pls respond

pls

I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, BROFRIEND

I LIVE THERE TOO

Ah! Significant Other's! Well, I hope you find that the one you have is all you'll ever need.

As for playing around. Been doing that all my life.

In my opinion; Marriage is a carry over from Biological terms that religious people didn't seem to comprehend.

No discussions on God, Religion, or religious beliefs is allowed at this web Forum, so, no further discussion about your family life, my family life, will endure long if you consider explaining yourself further.

I am a mod seeker and will try any mod if it has met all the standards of construction. I quit modding since I burned up too many computers while learning all the basic modding tools. So unless you have something of exquisite work, excellently done without artifacts, and a bunch of uncleaned computer game crashing crud in them I won't be downloading any of yours.

May more likely see you at the last poster wins, or not!

Enjoy making new friends in the Modders realm of Skyrim. :D

I made an AMAZING discovery!
I put an old hard drive into my new machine, which I thought was re-formatted, and ready for the new OS.
I turned on the computer and I found my Windows XP had not been destroyed. It was supposedly suffering from indescribable computer overload. The computer died while I was playing Oblivion and loading it with tons of FANTASTIC Mods.
The old MotherBoard must have just lost its ability to read the hard drive.
Everything is intact. All I have to do is upgrade to Service Pack 3 and it will be up to date. Windows XP doesn't recognize the new ISPs modem, so it may end up being my Fallout 3 game machine. That's what I was preparing it for when the old MoBo got a furball; not a hairball, because cats have fur; or maybe my hair got in it in a tiny ball, or dust mite dustball got in her computer system. Gag, cough, cough.

It could've been fur left over from my last pals: "Top Cat and Sparky". He and Sparky lived for 14 years with all the veterinarian care I got them. Him and Sparky, the female, both had a long They both lived for 14 years with the veterinarian care I got them. Him and Sparky, the female, both had a long and luxurious lives, living with me in my old ranch hand house. Life in my old ranch hand house was filled with gaming fun.

MORROWIND was my first new game when I moved to the little white house on the west side of the Smelter Town throughway.

Yay! I can play Oblivion and Fallout 3 again!

On my mind? A few things like wondering about approaching Christmas. Just got a Steam version of Borderlands with all DLCs. Have also been playing through Borderlands 2 and its add ons. My new approach to gaming is far more relaxed than by old one. I play less and try to keep my sessions shorter with an occasional exception.

My mind space? Thinking of mind-body-spirit, of starting a more holistic approach to life. Being better organised, neater, more sociable and better able to fit into groups, especially teams.

How to do with annoying people, especially those who go out of their way to be annoying. Still working through that one.

What's on my mind; a few things but I try to keep my mind less cluttered these days.

Oh! The wonderful pains of eating too much on Thanksgiving day. :woot:

I grew up with a family who were fond of this holiday. Even I was caught up in the kitchen preparations. The frolicing about was contagious, and fun filled with laughter was abundant, as the tasks making all the various courses for the meals were put together. I recall putting boiled potatoes in a cone shaped pan which stood in a deep bowl. The cone had tiny holes along its sides all the way to the bottom tip. Pressing down on those potatoes was hard work. I had to us a long wooden cone shaped masher with a knob at the top to keep a hold of it. When I got the hang of the work process a bunch of holes had thin potato squeezed out in strings. They all were recombined in the bowl with a cup of warmed milk, melted tab of real butter, a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper too, and became, "Mashed Potatoes".

I hope all of you have a Great Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

Hmm... things on my mind...

Well, first off, what came to mind is how incredibly awful the movie I just watched was. lol I mean, it genuinely made me hurt inside I wanted it to end so badly. I'm also kind of thinking about homelessness and about the homeless guys I hung out with the other day..

That started by both a homeless guy and myself finding out that, in utah where I live, the buses run on a sunday schedule on black friday for some reason. Because of that, we were both needing to walk the same way and started chatting. He seemed like an ok guy and I kind of felt that the reason some of what he was saying felt a bit forced or fake was because he was too used to having to explain why he is where he is. After walking a bit more though he said that we could stop at a gas station and he would be able to call his "partner" to give us a ride. In the mean time he told me about these bags of cloths he had and this new jacket and how he was looking at stuff at a consignment shop and the guy that owned it gave them to him. It was at that point where things stopped adding up since the cloths were from walmart(though not in walmart bags). He tripped on the sidewalk then and started ranting about how he wanted to slit someones throat. Later, after the gas station phone call, he came out and we waited for his partner.. I was less concerned with him at that point than I probably should have been. He mentioned that he wish he had some meth and asked if I had ever used it.. He was very obviously not a meth head(I grew up around them) and much sharper than what he was letting on. A little while later he tried to make himself seem tough out of some random impulse and said he spent 25 years in prision for breaking someones neck for raping his daughter. I could tell he was lieing at this point, but not for certain. What I could tell was that he wasn't a good guy and noticed that he now had a pair of gloves in his bags that weren't there earlier that he had lifted from inside the gas station.

When his buddy got there with his wife, we put some money in his tank and then got in the car. It was awkward feeling and I could tell that this really was his "partner" and that his partner's wife WAS a Meth head. As we started driving away he threw one of the pair of gloves to his buddy and said "Compliments of the Chevron," his buddy didn't have any emotion back and that made me uncomfortable. This was normal for them: stealing gloves from stores.. After a bit of driving towards both of our destinations I basically acted like I meant to that I needed to get out at a walmart that was 20 blocks farther from the original one I mentioned and they all seemed surprised, but not suspicious. We parted ways then and I wandered through the walmart for a while thinking things through and to give myself a chance to get some air before making my way back towards my house another 25 blocks away.

The whole thing feels surreal to me now because it all felt so off and dangerous and stupid half way through. I've been through a lot and am tough as nails and even when we were in the car, I chose the spot that offered me the biggest defensive advantage and had my hand on my knife ready to go if needed. What I have never felt though was the feeling of being outnumbered in a car two theives and a meth head. It did give me a great deal to thing about though and I'm grateful for it. I've helped out the homeless for a long while now and have been planning to take a full summer some time soon to do a video documentary on all aspects of homelessness in the us that I can, but this really gave me a taste of some of the darker sides of those I've helped. What I am still having a hard time understanding was his motivation for talking about prison time he had spent. ^^; If he actually had paralyzed a guy, why tell the random stranger about it? The only thing I can think of is that he must of been testing me and felt like he could talk about stuff like this because of how I took who he was with a grain of salt. He wanted to see if I could be one of their "buddies" or if I would do something that gave away something they could steal.

Anyways, I should probably stop thinking about it. lol I'm alive and they don't know me.. My god, my sister would beat me to death if she knew I did that. x3 Where-as I kind of just dealt with things and didn't let myself go paranoid growing up, my sister is so paranoid it unbelievable. She'd crap her pants if I told her this.. haha

YaoiPi Sounds like you met with a schizo-typical kind of person. They are not schizophrenics. It's a trait, e.g., a harmless person shows when they are frightened. Testing their new acquaintance.

It is the kind of common street talk among street people. They still have the usual problems of communication abilities when they've been out on the street looking for work and stooping to salvage gathering and looting.

When out of the community, no longer in the loop of friends and among the working class, it becomes customary. They are no longer capable simple chatting routines with the family and friends.

You did well to read your own sense's while with the person. Good on you!
