Frequent creashes in combat

My modded FO3 regularly crashes in combat when I shoot someone. Sometimes I can play for an hour or so but sometimes it crashes after 10 minutes when shooting someone. I have the Multicore CPU fix, enabled 4GB memory usage via CFF Explorer, the Stutter Remover, and I play in windowed mode using OneTweak. I got the GOTY version from Steam.

 

My system is:

 

AMD FX-8320 3,5 GHz

Sapphire HD6790 1GB

Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866 MHz memory

Gigabyte 970A-UD3

Windows 7 64bit

I also use NMC's Perfomance texture pack.

I noticed that it tends to crash more when shooting Talon Company or Super Mutants but it crashes with Raiders and such too so I'm clueless. I suspect it's a load order problem or an incompatibility I just can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

Crashing during combat is more than often due to too many active actors with MMM enabled. You can specify the number of active actors in combat you want with Wrye Flash for Fallout 3 in the bashed patch tweaks section. MMM default is at 30 but if you have increased spâwns activated you're going to crash fast. In WF I have it at 25, with MMM running slightly increased spawns only and no iguanas, that keeps it crash free and no even if you own the NASA Mars program system computer to run Fallout 3 on with a zillion Gigs of RAM it won't matter a thing, it's due to the Fallout 3 engine....

 

While MMM is an essential mod for my playthroughs, it is also the most common cause for the crashes I experienced over the years, if it weren't so good I would have deleted it already eons ago lol

Fallout 3 crashes when shooting... very, very long time have been trying to find solution on internet for this problem! Nothing, not one single advice worked on win xp or win 10 until I removed sweetfx. Problem solved, no crashes, working perfect with tweaked stutter remover. Using FWE + 35 plugins in load order. From this 35 3 or 4 are made by merging many smaller mods with FO3plugin. Then made them master files.

What is: MERGED_PLUGINS.ESM?

 

Specifically what was " merged "???

 

Also I would try to play the game WITHOUT: Mart's Mutant Mod - Increased Spawns1_3.

 

Usually what happens is these types of mods OVERLOAD the game and cause serious issues with FPS to crashing.

The FWE and Fellout plugins are out of order.
