Hi everybody ;D

I was playing around Oblivion, and found myself wondering what the most popular enemy/fighting style is. For me; I like to fight hostile NPC's. Don't know why. As for fighting style, I started at destruction, moved on to marksman and did that for 1 year, then switched to hand to hand, afer that to blade, and I'm fighting with destruction and blade combined right now. What about you?

The way I do it is, if the target is at long range I go marksmanship. If it closes within range to make me vulnerable to HTH/blade/blunt etc attacks, I switch to my sword. If at any moment during the fight my sword breaks, I switch to hand to hand. At no moment do I backpedal, I stand my ground the entire time.

Like GoldenDragon, I switch-up to suit the situation.

With my theif/assasin character I use the bow combined with good stealth ability to keep most opponents at a comfortable distance.

But when It hits the fan, I specialize in On-touch Destruction spells to make those that get too close wish they hadn't.

I like fighting Bandits, they throw a taunt at you  and go flying the same moment  for my fighting style it depends on the character I play. I have got an assasin :ninja: who uses bows and poison as well as a tiny little bit of magic(mostly "fortify xx xx" spells for marksman or sword when at close range) and my "Asha'man" (read the "Wheel of time" series from Rober Jordan) uses destruction, swords, alternation, mysticism and illusion. So pretty much everything exept blunt weapons. And light armor or magical clothes, because heavy armor makes you as slow as a tourtle 'till you get master rank :yucky:

I use a combination of spells at distance, then close in for the kill with a sword, i dont like blunt weapons as they are too slow, i never wear armor or use a shield as this renders magic only 95% effective, i like to wear a combination of clothing that i can enchant with sigil stones.

Ah, this one likes shooting from behind, Simon likes to hear them scream and see them fly when they die of a single shot..

Off of an enchanted bow and arrow.

If they get too close, Simon does have a few tricks up his sleeve,

for example the Touch of Death which is a really powerful frost touch spell Simon made himself.

Even tho' Simon likes slaughtering NPCs a lot, Simon would mostly like to do huge boss battles,

a shame Oblivion has almost none, and none scripted to be really tough and different from others.

Simon also likes using blade weapons, really fast ones preferably, not any heavy armor tho',

it slows down too much and makes clumsy, just light armor and the Boots of Springheel Jack which Simon saved from the quest.

Hm, I'll fight anything.

Especially when I'm bored. I'd pull as many guards/monsters as possible

A typical spell I'll use that I created myself in the construction set.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Generally decided to remove any life from a city.

Spell Name: Ascent to the Heavens

School: Destruction

Damage: 10000 Shock Damage, 9000 Fire Damage, 9000 Frost Damage in 500ft (Ranged Spell)

Type: Lesser Power (0 Magicka Cost)

Ignores Line of Sight

Ignores Spell Absorbtion/Reflect (Can't be absorbed or reflected- Or I die LOL) (Can be resisted)

I like fighting NPCs and use Stealth/Marksman mostly. Normally 1 shot/kill although there are times I enjoy taunting and toying with my opponents with enchantments and poisons. I'll break their armor, disarm them so they can only use fists, then damage their fatigue to the point they can only lay on the ground and breathe heavily. At that point I can do whatever I want to them, absorb their health until I'm healed or use Umbra to fill my black soul gems,
