Does this game despise SSD drives?

i ask, cause i'm getting constant freeze on start ups

it'll load the bethesda logo then freeze

and of course since i'm using windows 8.1 i have to log out and then back in -_-

anyone else have this issue?

 

i've installed it on a normal drive before and it never did this

but i always had to deal with in game Freezes/CTD's

well... i always delt with Freezing and CTD's regardless <.< just cause of the amount of mods i use -_-

how much do you like Win 8?

 

theres always the option to downgrade.

 

It's a pain if you're going to do it all by yourself like I had to for my Gf's Win 8 laptop. ( I only say its a pain because the file system format for Win 8 OS is partitioned in GPT [ Globally unique identifiers partition table] instead of NTFS [New technology filing system] )

it's not a mod issue

cause sometimes i'd work sometimes not <.<

but i did end up reinstalling on my slave and it's kinda working

no more Freezing on beth logo

but now i'm crashing every 10 or so seconds -_-

but that's mod related and i'm working on fixing it as we speak lol

GPT isn't a file system; it's a partitioning scheme that can be used instead of the traditional MBR. It has absolutely nothing to do with file systems or operating systems.

There's no reason to downgrade your OS, because this it makes absolutely no difference where this game is concerned. Something else is the source of your problems.

There's no reason to downgrade your OS, because this it makes absolutely no difference where this game is concerned. Something else is the source of your problems.

FFS!!!! it froze at the bethesda logo 6 freaking times!!!!! IN A ROW

i've tried everything

i tried it on my 1tb slave but it still freezes

i'm reinstalling back to my ssd but i'm sure that'll be just as mucked up -_-

 

UPDATE:

ok i'm seriously stumped...

now it's working fine...

no freezes at the beth logo

guess time will tell now
