Darziak
I had a fake scan webpage that popped up at me on Sunday while on nexus but I dismissed it. I think it's rare when I get it now since last time it was often. http://thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/ermm.gif

evilneko
That's normal as ads are rotated and not bound to any specific pages. Here's another security trick: run your browser with reduced privileges. Here's a page that explains how to do it. Here's the download page for Drop My Rights, which includes explanation for why you should use it. For those using a 32 bit OS, there's also Sandboxie, which IIRC includes similar functionality in addition to its sandboxing capabilities.
