Whenever I try to load a save thats outdoors, my game crashes. I loaded a save that was in My Megaton House, and it loaded fine until i tried to leave megaton. It crashes on the loading screen. I sorted my load order with BOSS and have used the "busethreadedAI and iNumHWThreads" method, i reinstalled the game, verified cache, but still nothing. I'm also using FOSE. Can someone please help? this is my load order

My guess would be too many mods. If you have your game installed in "Program FIles", that might also be a problem.

I see you have one of the Blackened patches. You should get the one for FWE, EVE, MMM, Project Beauty and disable and uninstall the other patches you have that aren't needed.

With a load order that large, you should make the game Large Address Aware: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6510/?

I have it installed in the Program files 86x in the steam folder common. Where would it be best to move it? Also I used CFF Explorer to do the 4GB thing, which i believe does the same thing as Large Address Enabler (Gopher's vids). I went ahead and unistalled the other patches as well like you said, but the issue is persisting. I ran FOSE after i deactivated all the mods and I did not have the issue, so it might be one of the mods, but I'm not entirely sure as the game ran fine before all this happened when I first had to reinstall the game.

" I ran FOSE after i deactivated all the mods"

I don't understand this statement. Did you mean FO3Edit?. FOSE (Fallout Script Extender) is a program that should be used to start the game.

I don't use CFF Explorer, but I understand it does the same thing as the Large Address Aware Enabler.

Since you do not need Steam to run the game, there are instructions on Steam that will tell you how to move the game out of the Steam folder and Program FIles. A lot of people have the game installed in the "My Games" folder. I have it

installed directly on my hard drive in a "Bethesda Softworks" folder.

The User Access Control built into the Windows OS does not allow any outside programs to make changes to any programs that are in the "Program Files" folder in Windows. This is preventing the CFF explorer and FOSE from working properly. Both of these programs make changes to the Fallout 3.exe.

What I meant was that I launched the game using FOSE while i had all my mods uninstalled, to see if one of them was causing the crash issue. I'm assuming it is a mod, because I launched the game with FOSE and i did not crash when going out to the Wasteland. I went ahead and just turned UAC off, as I understand it does the same thing. I also Master updated all the mods but it seems the issue still persists. Would you happen to have any other suggestions?

Reinstall your mods but do not master update them. Master updating is not the all around cure for mod problems.

Start the vanilla game and make a save. Exit the game and add a mod (or mod series), start the game. Do this for each mod or mod series until the problem returns. The last mod added will be the one causing the problem.
