When i get to the create character screen i can see the menu to change your info but that's it. i can not see the actual character so i cant see the changes im making to it. What could cause this problem. thx in advance
MichikoUnknownFox
I can think of a few things that could cause this. There's probably more, but the only times I ever had these problems are the ones I'm describing here. You might have Invisibility or Chameleon on for some reason. Could be a cheat mod that makes you permanently invisible. If this could be the case, you can disable the mod and enable it later on when you think you need it. It might also be because of a weird or incompatible head mesh, especially if you're using a custom race or otherwise have messed with face/hair/eye meshes, but not very likely. This happened to me before, though, where the head was missing but I can see the eyes, hair and mouth floating in place.
Fonger
Given that the OP has exactly 1 post its also just possible that his computer doesn't meet minimum requirements for this game. So ... what's your video card.
Tomlong54210
Are you using Win7 or Vista? If so, you should install the game outside of the default folder, Program Files (x86). Many users recommend installing to "C:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\" instead. The other thing to check is archive invalidation. Do you use OBMM? Latest Official Patch - http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/updates_patches.htm <-- If you are not using the GOTY edition (or do not have disc 2 of it installed) apply this official patch. What mods are you using? Edit: Your specs would be nice to know as well.

Tomlong54210
graphics card: mobile intel 4 series Express Chipset Familyare you quite certain that this video chip meets minimum requirements for this game.It does not. Edit: I was going to suggest that the issue might be that you have installed the game to the default folder, Program Files (x86). Installing outside of that folder (i.e., to C:\Games\Bethesda Softworks) would help, but that chipset is not meant to play video games. The other thing to try would be to set "BSA Redirection" in OBMM (Utilities > Archive invalidation) but that would not help your hardware problem. Tomlong54210
If you are able to run the game, I can help with increasing performance, but that chipset is not intended to support games such as this.
