JDGameArt
I bought Oblivion the week it came out, played the crap out of it (including knights of the nine) then put it away for a few years. Came back and have been modding, and working on it more than playing it. Never the less, my tune is reaching the point of wrapping up the bulk of the content from the main quests and what not. It seems the next step would be to pick up Shivering Isles and move on to that. My questions are... Is it worth it? The trailer, and box info talk about 40+ hours of game play, and a load of more content. Is it as good as advertised? And do you have problems with it conflicting with mods? Thanks,Justin
VelvetAssassin
I personally think that it's worth it. 40+ more hours, two new suits of armor, new weapons, awesome personalties, and the ability to lead armies and defend the kingdom? Definionatly worth it to me.
GreatLucifer
Ok, I already have SI but never took it too seriously, cause beyond the gate the people are a bit crazy....But lead armies? I never knew about that :l Could you elaborate :) ?
bben46
Also quite a few mods now require it
blacksmithkazuma
I have SI for both 360 and PC Love, it's is delightfully insane and absolutely fun!!! Rich mods would be at your disposal . *been trying to redo the dark seducer armour for HGEC H-CUp LL Bottom with blender... hard work*
Terramaris
In my opinion the Shivering Isles is worth it. Of course I do feel like I belong in the isles at times. It has a great mainquestSome mods have resources from SI so if you are a mod lover SI is a mustNew armor and weaponsThats just what I can think of from the top of my head without spoiling anything. Tomlong54210
I've had it since 2007 or early 2008 and still have not been...
crpgnut
I've never played very far through Shivering Isles either, though I've owned it since it came out. For whatever reason I never got the rumor about Niben Bay in this playthrough. I'm reinstalling Oblivion and will make sure to add SI again. I always see the rumor eventually when my PC talks to his companion.
BlackerrR
I am HIGHLY recommending to install SI, it's great and you'll face very different experience than in Cyrodiil. Also, I haven't heard any rumor about Niben Bay Door, I just wait until quest pops up saying "bla...bla...".
