SystmFrz
In reference to http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Chameleon, I'm looking for particular pieces of clothing that would be best used for "cool factor" and for lightness(preferably zero-weight) that you guys may have found. I'll be using it for Brotherhood/Thief's Guild missions, as well as the main story, so is there any clothing in-game that would be black, light armor, and good for the enchanting? What have some of you used that worked out great for your characters?

You would not see any of it ever again if enchanted to 100% chameleon. Rabbit

LFact
You can't toggle it on and off like Lucien Lachance's Speaker robes? What kind of spell does he have on his robes then? I thought Lucien's robe is just a Black Hand Robe, like other Black Hand members'?(You can kill Lucien before he goes away when you first meet him and take his clothes. And.. it's just another enchanted robe) Looks like he has attached script or 'walking away with chameleon' is part of quest script.Normal enchantment(in-game or in CS) cannot be turned on/off. If you want to do that, it should be scripted, I think.

Rabbit1251
A simple in-game work around is to enchant five articles of clothing/armour/jewelry to 20% chameleon each. But once again you would never see the articles in question. I found it to be a great game killer, however, and no longer use chameleon or invisibility with my characters. AltreU
There's a neat little mod that does allow you to have a little aesthetic appreciation:http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2411.After a drought of no Oblivion for a few months, I remembered I didn't want to go chameleon without it. As for what you could wear with it, there aren't too many of the vanilla games clothing and armor that go with it that I'd use. Usually, due to the fact that I was well enough hidden around 60% to 80%, I'd stick with a robe and ninja my way around.
SystmFrz
Thanks for the replies. I persoanlly tried the chamelon ring mod and the no refraction, and I will agree that having no one be able to see you sort of defeats the purpose of playing the game. I believe I'll experiement with lesser chameleon and see what I can come up with.
