I wish I had the time to do what you guys do, but as it stands, I'm in college to learn how to make, not mod, but someday I hope to develop a game and have a community of modders as dedicated as all of you. B)
Stampede Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 Nice of you to say so JiLT, I'm sure your sentiments are in the right place and all the mod-makers would be very pleased to see that you appreciate their hard work, however I almost deleted this thread as it had become something of a spam fest. I'm going to move it into the plug-ins section for now and see what happens.

It fells good to have somebody who tells that they care about what we do. Some just download plugins and give no thanks to the creators. And even if this is not a specified thanks, it really is strengthening to read! Thanks! :D

Baphomet Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 My appreciation for Modders in general sky-rocketed about two minutes after I opened the Construction Set for the first time... tutorial in one hand, a Dr. Pepper in the other. After a couple hours, I determined that learning to use the CS was a project that was going to have to wait for now. I had no idea. Then I look at some of my Fav mods... and all I can think sometimes, is... "wow". A so-so mod can be impressive, but a REALLY outstanding one can be nothing short of awe-inspiring, IMO.
