burdfishdemon Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 DaddyDirection--thanks but I tried watching that video and it just discusses how to make bashed patches. I tried watching it twice but it didn't seem relevant to me yet; I need to know how to make Wrye bash run in MO; I can't seem to add it as an executable. Gromulos--thank you very much for the advice; so i should just run them and then compare the load order they give me? I tried following LOOT exactly but it messed up some graphical and combat stuff... I managed to fix some through quitting and changing order and reloading again and again lol. So I must use the others.
gromulos Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) I think you're misunderstanding, you don't run Wrye bash IN Mod Organizer, you run all 4 programs in this order 1) loot, let it sort 2) Wrye bash - make any check marks that are not green turn green by dragging them up or down in your load order 3) Tes5Edit - verify secondary files are loaded after masters and also verify that there are no mods missing that your installed mods need 4) match MO's load order to Wrye bash Hope that clears it up for you  Edited September 22, 2014 by gromulos
burdfishdemon Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Okay, but I DO run LOOT in MO as an executable and then I press sort in mod organizer. That's correct right? Because that's all I've been doing to this point. Anyways! I re-dl'd wrye bash and made it an executable file (last time I couldn't and the exe file showed no mods! I'm looking at this now. Hopefully all will be good. Also do you know--should I be organizing the left pane or right pane of MO? Or both? Thanks for all your help thus far.
gromulos Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 right pane only as the left pane is for Fomods and package installers
burdfishdemon Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) Really? Okay I'll believe you! I'll give this a shot... EDIT: Actually, if the left doesn't matter, then why did reversing some graphical mods at the end earlier today fix certain tree graphical problems? And when I open Wrye Bash, is the order I see the one that corresponds with MO or do I need to tell WB to order the mods? EDIT 2: Nevermind; didn't see WB has BOSS built in. burdfishdemon Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Okaaaaay so now my game is crashing... Not that I had tested it thoroughly before this (I had to do a full reinstall the other day because i accidentally put MO in a temporary file). What is the best way to remedy crashing? Boss only gives me a few warnings. So far I'm crashing on new enemies I'm fighting :[
gromulos Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 double check your wrye bash and then your TES5EDIT, one or more of your mods is out of sequence remember, wrye bash check marks should ALL be green, SKYui should be loaded second to last and your bashed patch last and IF using the reproccer, those files should be below the bashed patch
burdfishdemon Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Okay I looked and it was the Skyre crossbow patch ,_, I spent over an hour before this checking individual mods, starting up the game, getting into a fight with an npc, and verifying whether or not the mod was okay................ Anyways, you seem really helpful... Can you (or anybody!) help me out with one other thing? Do you know how to fix this rendering issue I'm having? All trees 10-seconds running distance or so away suddenly change appearance a bit once I get that close! I have a mod called AOF LOD HD Trees but it doesn't seem to help. Could it be because I have lush trees, several graphics enhancements, the floral overhaul, hd plants and herbs, and dense vegetation?
Nyquist Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I think most people have missed the mark. Left pane is essential when it comes to graphics mods since it decides which textures are overwritten and which are kept. Same with mods that have scrpits named the same way. If you have tree overhaul mods like vurts flora overhaul you cannot edit the lod files with other mods otherwise the trees in distance will look weird and glitchy. Best bet would be for example to go to the step guide and take a look which files they hide in their mo install of flora overhaul.
burdfishdemon Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Thank you Nyquist--I had noticed this awhile ago--depending on which way I order the mods on the left--especially graphical ones--the environments look different for sure. My trees only look iffy in the distance. They look like christmas trees a little. Then i get 10 seconds away and they change a bit to look much more HD. It's not a big problem. I was just wondering if maybe it's because it's a 2011 game. I'll try a step guide or whatever.
