empPill
Hello everyone!I installed fallout 3 recently on my new computer and it works fine exept for the small lags.It just seems like the game will freeze but it just keeps running (before I had to shut it down, but I followed a guide and changed a thing in the fallout.INI file), these freezes realy bother me so i'd like to figure out whats the problem.Could it be mods, or is my computer too weak?I dont realy know what information you guys need so please tell me !My computer specs are:Intelcore i7 720 QMATI mobility radeon HD 58508gb ram Thanks for the help ! ZephyrX
You have a good video card (I'm not sure how much of a performance drop the mobile version is from the full sized one, but if I'm reading your components wrong, just ignore this part) and more RAM than I could imagine anything could require at this time IMO  . I don't know much about your processor, but a quick search seems to show that it's enough. I don't think performance is a problem here, but if you're concerned about that there's a nice utility that gauges your specifications against the recommended settings: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri Beyond that, I recommend that you leave the game running for however long it usually takes to freeze so that you can determine if it's a specific issue loading a certain area or just running the game engine in general. Otherwise, try running for awhile without mods and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, you can enable them in groups until you find the offending mod. vforvic
What is your operating system? You might also consider some process on the system causing the freezes.
empPill
Could it be that my fan fan can't handle the pressure?

ZephyrX It's not at any special time but it starts after i played for a little while, it could be in the wastes or in a firefight or just taking out your pip boy.It just freezes for ca 1 second or less, and i experience massive lags. evilneko
Get Fallout Stutter Remover. Seriously it works like frikkin magic. Just search Nexus for it. Needs FOSE. Also I'd say switch from Unofficial to Official patch.
Fonger
Also I'd say switch from Unofficial to Official patch. :tongue:you cannot play Zeta without the 1.7 official patch but since you are advising removing the unofficial patch, do you like the bugs Bethesda abandoned?
