Charles The Plant

Adras

Recommended Posts

I don't know how many people have been in Jobasha's Rare Bookstore and noticed Charles the plant, but I know I have. However, I decided to make my life-long tribute to Morrowind. I bought a cactus today (the grocery store I work at was selling small 3 inch cacti) and decided to name it Charles. I will hopefully get a picture of Charles pretty soon. Just wanting to let everyone know of my tribute to Morrowind.

He he, I've been facinated with Charles the plant since I first noticed it, and Ive always wondered who Joshaba really is that Charles has chosen his shop to park in.

Do you think he has to feed it moonsugar, alla 'Little shop of horrors'...

Let me know if your 3 inch Charles starts making weird request will ya :D

Charles is a named potted plant that you can find on one of the shelves in Jobasha's bookstore in Vivec. Just another one of the little easter eggs Bethesda included in Morrowind. :P

An interesting tribute to Morrowind Adras. ^^ Let us know how that goes. ;)

This is a reference to Lucasarts' Adventure games, namely Maniac Mansion. In Maniac Mansion, and most of the other games, there is a named plant called 'Chuck the Plant', the basis for LeChuck in the Monkey Island series. Its a running joke with the game creators. If you'll notice, Charles is a container and drops 'Meteor Slime', which is also a reference to Maniac Mansion.
