Paxan_1
Hi all, the last time i tried to arrive at Fort Independence for some trading the Outcast Paladins have attacked me. I can't really remember why, because i'm playing a very very good character. The only situation which could be responsible for this could be the killing of the Roy Philips gouls. I've reseted that mission after helping them to enter the Tenpenny Tower, i don't like it that the residents are killed after that by the gouls. Some ideas why that could happen? TehBuddha
One of their own might have steppod on yone of you mines?Or maybe you accidently hit them with a grenade at one point? If its assault they're attacking ou for, just wait three daysSomewhere where they cant see you. You *should* be able to talk to them again. Unless of course, its a bug... Edit - It wont have been because you killed Roy Phillips and his gang, Im pretty sure. It could be that you havnt talked to one of the Outcasts outside the fort before going in. That makes them hostile, apparently.
Paxan_1
Hmmm, i don't use mines or grenades on my own. Sometimes Jessi take them (Companion). Maybe waiting 3 days is an option. A bug, maybe.... but i really dont want to reinstall the game...

eLucifer
Same happened for me. Can console commands prevent this?
falloutperson416
My conclusion = You pissed them off somehow.
Johssy
The only situation which could be responsible for this could be the killing of the Roy Philips gouls. No, that has nothing to do with the Outcasts liking you or not. Some ideas why that could happen? Ruling out 'nades 'n mines misfortune, companions can shoot them all they want without the Outcasts hating on you for it so Jessi isn't to blame here, I'm leaning against you entered the Fort too soon. Don't know what else to do if you've already tried waiting for three plus days, so... A bug, maybe.... but i really dont want to reinstall the game... Woah, no need to reinstall the game for a new playthrough! I guess you could do some console commands to make the game think you did a part of the Outcast Collection Agent mission, so you'd be friends with them again. How to do that, I don't know :/
evilneko
This issue shows up on the forums once in a while. There are console commands to fix it, but I don't remember them. I generally avoid interacting with them. Trading tech with them is a rip off anyway. :verymad: Try searching the forum a bit. Use Google to search it if you don't like the built-in search. Quetzlsacatanango
I have heard tell that the BoS and outcasts are hostile to each other, and when you join the BoS in Broken Steel, their hostility transfers to you. I never play those quests so I'm not sure about it, but I have heard tell.
evilneko
I do not believe that is true. But, I'll load Talia's save and go find me some Outcasts and find out.
