Curated Mod Packs?

I've recently gotten back into Skyrim and modding the hell out of it. I've been watching various YouTube mod overviews and such, and a thought just occurred to me.

Has anyone put forth the idea of having curated mod packs that would allow a one-click download of a group of mods defined by a given user? I'm thinking something a bit like Steam's curation they just introduced. As an example, if a YouTube mod reviewer uses a certain set of graphics mods with a certain ENB and they are getting a lot of requests from viewers to list all the graphics mods they are using, rather than linking to all 2 dozen of them individually, they could link to a curated list where the viewer could get the whole set together to achieve that look.

I haven't done a ton of searching through these forums and haven't spent much time here, it's just an idea that popped into my head watching videos last night and thought I'd throw it in here for people to comment on. Seems like it could be useful across the board, really. Get a known-compatible set of mods that someone has tested to work together and remove yet more of the frustration from modding, which Nexus seems all about with the NMM and such.

  • Do not upload compilations of other users work irrespective of whether the authors of the work you would like to compile together have agreed to your using their work in your compilation. For example: no "my favourite mods" lists or "best weapon" compilations.

Installing multiple mods at once is bad practice and asking for trouble, install one at a time and thoroughly test it before moving on.
