Werepire
http://i61.tinypic.com/13youd.png This was just done quickly in paint, but what i request is a way to track how much progress you have done in the game, this would be good for those who really want to do everything and also for those who just want to keep track on stuff.Modders, is this doable? Can i do anything to help?Do anyone have any questions, conserns or feedback? Be sure to post them here or pm me if that is what you preffer. lofgren
None of these values are bounded and most are increased by both script and the game engine, so it's possible to make this for the vanilla game but any mods would throw off the percentages. Although I don't even know what a "completion" score for items would look like. Percentage of unique forms you have had in your inventory?
Werepire
I tend to want only use mods that work to aid me in the background such as a quality map so for me and like-minded who don't add mods that add items and content this would not be an issue. Items overallHaving picked up every type of item would result in 100%picking up half the types of items 50% Items in dungeonsHaving picked up every type of item in a dungeon and not doing a single quest (in said dungeon) would result in 50% of that dungeon completed, the same applies if you revert it Say if there was only 10 shouts and you earn/find one then that would earn you 5% completion in shouts while activating (spending a dragon soul) on that shout will earn the remaining 5% completion for a total of 10% Take the very first dungeon, there are ton of baskets and picking one counts for the rest of them--------It would also be awesome if we could see how far our completion in different holdsare progressing
Hyacathusarullistad
So you'd want to have to pick up an embalming tool, a useless item, in order to have a dungeon tagged as 100%?
Werepire
I didn't think about that, hmm.Would a percon with OCD want it? Most likely.Would a casual player want it? Most likely not. Based on this it would be a good idea to allow for mod customization such as allowing us to choose wether or not to need to pick it up. Thank you Hyac. for noticing. lofgren
While what you are asking for is not technically impossible, it would require so much tedious, time-consuming, unstimulating work that I'm going to go ahead and predict that nobody will be willing to do it. Werepire
I would be willing to do the math and go through every dungeon and other places for the information but i have tried doing mods before with very limited succsess so if someone does agree to help ill do that, if all else fails i can follow directions so if someone doesn't want to do the mod but are willing to show me how to do this i think i can do it. The biggest problem that inexperienced me can see is how to make the mod recognice what faction a character has chosen, because say i create a character and say that that character is a Stormcloak, with the mod to kill npc at Imperial camp, how would that character get 100% on stormcloak camps? lofgren
Well going through every dungeon and creating formlists of all of the items found in them would be a lot of the work. Maybe you can find a like-minded modder who wants to take it the rest of the way. Honestly though I cannot imagine that there are many such people out there. (though it is late and i will start tommorow)
Werepire
Uppdated Warning math below Skills(Racials not included)Overall 15%18 skill types (Alteration etc)15 starting skills in all skills= 270 total skills that you start of with. 270 of the 1800 max is 15% of all skills----Magic 15%Combat 15%Stealth 15%6 skill types each15 starting skills= 90 total skills in any group. 90 of 600 is 15%90x3=270 and 600x3=1800, this is why they show the same numbers as overall---Skill by skillAlterateion 15 (15%)Alchemy 20 (20%)Archery 50 (50%)Well this is easy, each skill can be raised to 100 each and % goes up to 100 max, so whatever the skill is that is the %---Since the above was counted without racials the following picture is with racials, with the exeption of skill by skills.http://i61.tinypic.com/2r5t6oj.png Spells Alteration 17 spellsConjuration 33 spellsDestruction 29 spellsIllusion 17 spellsRestoration 23 spells= 119 spells 1 spell is 0.840%5 spell is 4.201%10 spell is 8.403%15 spell is 12.605% Guardian Stones 13 Stones 1 spell is 7.692%5 spell is 38.461%10 spell is 76.923% Edit: I have been trying to figure out what items are random and what is not, i have done this both in game and in the CK but hasn't been succsessful due to lack of experience of modding.
