spell list?

Just wonderin...

 

why is there not one single spell list online that I have been able to find? There are many vendor spells that have odd names that mean nothing to me, and I would love to be able to know the effect these spells are responsible for.

 

Go easy on me if there is a "dude you gotta be one of the stupidest..." type answer to this, I'm fairly new to Morrowind.

 

I mean, in a roleplay sense, I would expect to be able to ask the vendor what the spell does before shelling out 2 or 3 grand, so I wouldn't consider a spell list vs. trying a spell out and observing the effects exactly cheating...

You might want to try GameFAQs that site has tons of morrowind guides just search for morrowind you you'll get tons of guides one of them contains all spell abilities as far as i know sorry but i dont know which one anymore might be obvious.

Don't you get an explanation as to what the spell does when you hover the mouse pointer over the spell name?

and as far as hovering over the spell.... Some are fairly straightfoward, but often it will say something along the lines of "Almsivi Intervention for 10 seconds on self" which means absolutely nothing to me.

 

And another example - in the case of recall/mark... i would have had no clue as to how useful those spells are and would likely have ignored them, except that I came across a discussion on a message board involving those spells.... which kind of spurred on this whole search for a spell list
