Old times

You would think me being 13 I haven't missed much and I have to live through life and miss the times I was 13 but I still miss many things.

I miss living in Moscow. I love that city. All the crowds and the Moscow Metro.

I miss playing Serious Sam Second Encounter and a bunch of 4x4 racing games when I was little.

I miss many of the friends I met that I lost contact of.

I miss... I miss the old nexus. I so got used to the old design. Much have changed. People left and people came but within months I enjoy nexus less and less.

I miss playing fallout and trying to mod it.

I miss the time that one of my greatest friend still talked to me. (now he blocked me)

I miss visiting my grandma and my cousins.

I miss Morrowind.

I miss talking to one of my greatest friends on steam today (you know who you are lol)

Well yeah, I agree, things have changed much around here, both the looks and the faces of people. Many left for good it seems, new ones took their place etc.

What I miss?

I miss beeing a child, it was awesome.

I miss my elasticity I used to have when I was younger

I miss school days

I miss, I miss....

I miss the days when cars required a driver.(I really respect modern vehicle design. but I always turn my traction control resolutely OFF)

I miss the days when you could walk to the local games shop and buy a game knowing it would be a game and not a cynical marketing scheme without the fear of being attacked by an angry mob or shot at by rednecks for being an aethiest :ermm: .

I miss Brisbane. Brisbane is the Bravil of australia, but my girlfriend has since returned there and Im now living half a country away. :(

I miss having a girlfriend. Because while i9nternet forums are fun, she was always much better conversation. Alteast she didnt make me wait a full day for her to post her reply

I miss the days when being a political activist meant you had honour, ethics, and a commitment to justice. Now "activists" are so often thugs who defile everything that is sacred just to get their faces on TV. :verymad:

I think my dog misses his balls, too bad, the Vet threw em in the bin, and Im NOT going to retrieve them.

I miss hot weather, living actualy below the equator not on it makes it really chilly, when you've come from 100+ farenheit summers.

I miss political visionaries. The current crop of australian politicians are evil moneygrubbing little people who dont care about the greater good. :pirate:

Dude, I had such a good laugh, many thanks. Your poor dog probably blames you for that... haha. If I'll ever have a male dog, I'll never "remove" his jewels so he can "tra-la-la-la" with other dogs all day long, lol.

I miss the old environment and times, when I used to watch Disney Princess videos at home and listen to my mom, saying things like "I was her little princess".

I miss my friend. May he rest in peace.

I miss my old computer games, that are impossible to find anywhere today.

I miss the good smelling soap that I bought in Kiel 9 years ago. But, it just smelled so GOOD!

I miss the feeling that I had the first time I played Oblivion and Morrowind, exploring the cities and gameplay.

I miss being the small baby boss in the family.

Heh, this topic makes me so nostalgic :P

-I miss Nintendo 64. ;( I still have my old one, but it does not appear to work anymore. RIP, N64.

-My boss' daughter just started preschool and we got to talking about lunchboxes. Did you know they don't make those square plastic ones with matching thermoses anymore? I miss those lunchboxes of my schooldays gone past.

-There are people that I miss.

-I miss old coworkers :(

-I miss writing every night in my paper journal. Just seems like I don't have time anymore for that...online journals aren't the same..

I miss my grandparents. For those that still have them, cherish them while you can. I'm glad I spent a lot of time with them when I could. I can't look at a cribbage board without thinking of grandpa.

I miss local games/comics store. A dying breed. Always getting a friendly greeting from the owner who you knew personally from your weekly trips.

I miss my old pets. Bucky my grandparent's dog from my childhood, and Jem the cat I lost to renal failure 10 years ago.

I miss the FPS game style of games like Hexen and Doom. The combo of fast action and puzzles still holds my interest to this day. I still like a lot of modern FPS games, don't get me wrong, but I loved all the puzzle solving in Hexen on top of the FPS action.
