Currently there is no effective way of combating piracy as pirates will figure out a workaround one way or another. The only real solution would be for all game companies to suddenly discontinue all support for PC games, cancel all their upcoming ones, and move to consoles, since consoles get most of the love nowadays anyway. completely giving up on the PC would not end video game piracy think I jest? just Google "xbox fallout 3 pirated" & no I do not condone piracy Well I guess it wouldn't but it will severely hamper, at least that's how I think it works anyway.
