Kagemitsu
I'm level 16, I'm a master in Blade, I'm a master in Sneak, I got the Sneak Overhaul mod where sneak attacking with a dagger does x15 dmg at master sneak level. That means I do a shitload of damage, completely ignore armor AND that damage get multiplied x15... add a poison to that and the shocking damage from my dagger.Sylvan Warsmer and such, these guys barely feel me, not to mention that whenever I attack one, the whole dungeon comes after me. They're damn strong and if you can beat them, please let me know how because I don't think there's much more I can do to improve my character skill wise (although I could use some better gear). If you play OOO and want to see what I'm talking about, go to Barastas, an Ayleid ruin NW of Anvil.

If you play OOO and want to see what I'm talking about, go to Barastas, an Ayleid ruin NW of Anvil. ` killThat's what I do for things like Necromancers (in non OOO) when they run away from me, they pull the entire room backing up, and their summoned Zombies try to rape me. I'll take them on with an Apprentice around, though. Anyway, other than that I think it's just purely "The point is you get raped" with that section in the mod, I'd think if you got more level it'd just become more unbalanced and they'd one-shot you, but I don't know how the overhaul effects overall leveling. Besides that maybe try getting some better gear, my Mage with his trusty Fire Staff whoops all ass always, so I normally don't end up in situations anymore where I can't kill something with some effort. Or, try uninstalling the overhaul. :P Maybe just for the particular quest. I'd go try it myself, but I don't really care, and like to think the skit in my head is how it would happen. Player: "Alright! I've slain the Trolls, I had to load from a last save about six times, but I got it!"NPC: "Thank you! Here's my dagger!"Player: "... I-.... I'm a Barbarian though."NPC: "Just take the damn dagger."Player: "I just wasted four hours on a dagger I won't even have any use for." NPC: "Don't be a female dog." Edit: Female dog? Way to ruin it, forums. Edited August 24, 2010 by dwellufool

Hickory
Level 16 is asking a bit much, no matter what equipment you have -- short of one-shot-kill god items, for those ruins in the search for the Dread Armour. Your best bet is to wait by the friendly Ranger camps in the morning, and go into the ruins with them -- they go on regular raids, and are a match for the corrupted elves, though outnumbered. A bonus is, you can loot any that fall for their Golden armour.
Vindekarr
Alright, well, seeing this I feel compelled to pass on some tactical wisdom. Step one: ARCHERS HATE MELEE!-DO NOT let your enemy choose the method of engagement, take charge! If you want to defeat a better armed oponent then you'll bloody well need to deny his his better weapons! In this case, use the traps, and tactics that deny them their ranged superiority. Step Two: TRAIN UP!-Solo, you arent gonna do ANYTHING to these guys at 16. I ran this at level 88, 16 is, no offence, but utterly helpless against something this powerful. Step Three: BETTER THAN DAEDRIC!-Dont bother running in with some junk un enchanted daedric togs you stole off a dead marauder, you'll need to be packing serious firepower for this, in particular, I'd recomend you get a mod that adds tiers of item above daedric. Such as OOO, with it's Pegasus tier, one above daedric, Apophis, with it's Silver Dragon tier, slightly better than daedric, or one of the other balanced armour mods, like the spectacular Night Knight kit. And make sure you enchant the bejebus out of it too, dont bother if it's not got enchantments down to the panties. Step Four: NICE MUSCLES!-No, really, dont bother soloing if you're below level 30, you better be tough for those Sylvan buggers, they're a hell of a lot more than a 16 can take solo without godmode. Step Five: SNEAKY-SNEAKY-SNEAKY-TWANG!-Ditch the knife, some much better stealth weapons exist, I especialy recomend a crossbow of crossbows of cyrodiil mod. They are well balanced and programmed as sniper rilfes-epicly long range and strong from a sneak attack, but the fact that you're immobile while firing them, and their very slow rate of fire, restricts them to the stealth role they so dominate. expect one hit kills from sneak if you're a good marksman, if not, you'l weaken your target immseaurably. Final step: GET HELP!-You arent gonna do stuff like this alone, get some good mercs to back you up and loot their top tier equipment if they die. CMpartners will be a godsend at your level.
