Two Dunmer faced Vidar as they kept trying to make a successful cut and thrust. However, Vidar parried each of them and failed to notice a third Dunmer with a chitin dagger crawling behind him. With a swift thrust the Dunmer pierced a weakspot in the armor. With out hesitation Vidar brings his blade back cutting off the hand of the dunmer. The Dagger stuck out of his thigh. Vidar then returns his attention to the other two Dunmer. Angered by the dagger in his thigh he quickly dispatches the other two and then resumes approaching Augusta.

She held the helm with her free arm, and watched Thomas collapse. "You have turned the tide of the war my friend! Rest easy! By your victory we survive." She tried to lift the helm, but her arm throbbed with the agony of the arrow and she dropped it, crying out in pain.

Finally reaching Augusta. Vidar puts his sword in the ground and picks up a spear that was dropped on the ground. He thrust the spear into the ground then places the helmet of the enemy commander upon the spear. It was plainly visible to all on the field of battle. The dagger still protruding from his thigh.
