Hi folks,

I welcome positive feedback and constructive criticism of these forums or any of my sites. Please be aware, however, that I do not tolerate blatent, useless bashing and insulting of any sites or their owners on these forums. If you have a problem please make sure you phrase it in such a way that isn't attacking or insulting and also that it provides a constructive solution to your problem.

EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO

Hi, I hate this site. Its so slow and useless. I don't understand why anyone would want to use this site. What idiot is running this site?

EXAMPLE OF WHAT TO DO

Hi there, I've been having problems with the load times on the site recently. Could you explain why this is happening and what could be done to fix this? Thank you.

EXAMPLE OF HOW NOT TO REPORT A CODING PROBLEM

Hi, some idiot has mis-coded a part of the site and now the whole file system doesn't work. You're so useless my granny's cat could do better than you.

EXAMPLE OF HOW TO REPORT A CODING PROBLEM

Hi there, when I try to go to http://www.siteaddress/pagewithproblem.php it gives the following error: some generic error message. Could you please tell me when you think this will be fixed? Thank you.

Notice the obvious difference.

You don't need to grovel at my feet but a little bit of diplomacy in how you present yourself and your issues, despite your problems, would be greatly appreciated. I'm extremely adversed to any sort of offensive or threatening posts on these forums ("I hate this site", "it's useless", "I hope you die", "you're so dumb" type posts), especially directed at myself, and such posts will be handled with zero-tolerance. Normally meaning an outright membership ban from the whole TESNexus network.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi there,

Suggestion:

When viewing a mod page, the vote section says

Rating

9.97 out of 10 [rate]

Could you please include the number of votes in that section?

e.g.

Rating

9.97 out of 10 (12 votes) [rate]

3 people voting 10 for a mod is vastly different than 30 people voting 10. It would make the quality of the mod more evident from the mod description page.

Thanks, I love the site!

I was wondering where the DOWNLOAD button/link/clicky-thingy is on any page? I have been trying to download CUTE ELVES, but I cannot find anywhere to click to get it - the only link I found was "mirror" and that link is broken on the Elder scrolls page, and actually suggests d/ling it from here.

How does one download here?

Thank you.

Hey,

first I love the sites, all of them! So much I wished for a NWN2 version of it...it never came though. :)

Now, I like to suggest some alterations to the Tracking Centre which I think would make 'keeping an overview of all the changes' more easy.

Right now it's kinda hard to keep track, because the updates are so granular. I usually have to view the last 4 pages to get see everything that changed, and then I overlook somethings...

I think by grouping the updates, the actual overview would improve greatly.

Also, some changes to me are more interesting than others. As a user/gamer I care alot more for a version update/new files than say a new image.

Highlighting such changes through bold/other color could help that.

What do you think? :)

Cheers,

Michael

Please someone help me, i don't know how to download a mod

From the file page, click on the files tab [above the description], select the file your want to download, if it is a larger file -above 2 megs- select a server. Then download as you normally would. Use the extraction tool of your choice and install according to the installation instructions in the description or read me.

Hope this helps.

i saw a little problem in the sites, the options for "other sites" are the same in the 3.

for FO3 nexus, it should be

the nexus forum

Dragon age nexus

TES nexus

and for Da nexus

the nexus forum

Fallout 3 nexus

TES nexus

it could help to navigate between the sites.
