Dan3345
I am wondering if it's possible for me to have one installation for modding purposes and another vanilla one for testing? It's very tedious to have to uninstall all my mods to test one, etc etc. Please only suggest legal options.
Rabbit1251
You might want to look at Mod Organizer. I understand that it will permit multiple profiles within the game. I believe that the Nexus Mod Manager will be getting this also in a future update. Rabbit

Nimboss
If you only have one PC, currently Mod Organizer is the best to achieve close to 100% what you want. The thinking behind it is brilliant. It virtually maps mod folders to the game at run time and after quit game you can start another profile with totally different setup with other mods without moving any files at all. This also needs GECK and FONVEdit to be started by MO, otherwise the files will not be found since they are not in game folder. The technique to do this is described in Gophers videos also. Last I checked it was not yet supporting changing .ini files by .cs scripting but few moods using that anyway.
