Fairy with a gun

 

As the chiming time sounded nine

Across the moonlit village and meadow lands

The ancient winds gathered their strength

To once again rend the veil twixt man and sprite

And to usher in the fairy queen

Who rode the lightning from her mystic realm.

 

For a war had come to the everglades from beyond our world

this moonlit eve so fair and bright.

Aye, twas the darkened king, the very spawn of sin

who broke the truce of a thousand years

to steal the soul of the queen’s fair love

and enslave the throne of her heart.

and rend the earth with his awful blight.

 

This is not complete ... I reckon there might be 3 or more stanza's (if that's the right word) still to come.
