SLTheThird
I like kickass quests with crazy new enemies and areas-they're a lot of the reason I'm here at all. So, other than the obvious Falskaar and Wyrmstooth, do you have any suggestions on the best quest mods?
Dkboy24
The Wheels of Lull and Helgen reborn are a must have for me in addition to Falskaar and Wyrmstooth. Wheels of Lull: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58672/? Helgen Reborn: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35841/? Both add amazing quests lines, new enemies and styles of dungeons and some very interesting fights. You will not be disappointed with this content. Make sure you head over to the mod authors page and endorse their mod and drop a comment if you enjoyed it.
LoneWolfEburg
There's 3dnpc aka Interesting NPC's. It has a lot of quests and two/three major storylines, although the focus isn't on new enemies and areas, so dunno whether this will suit you - but it's really great at what it does. Hyacathusarullistad
Helgen Reborn is pretty fantastic, though its voice work ranges widely - most of it is pretty great, but one character seems to have been recorded on a pretty lousy mic and another sounds like a barely passable Arnold impression. The Fight Against the Thalmor has a few great battles worked in, but I found the rewards rather OP for my taste. Note that Cyrodiil Frontier is incompatible with Helgen Reborn, even with the so-called 'patch' by the STEP team. But each entry in the series is entirely independent, so you can safely forgo TCF in favour of HR if you prefer. Falskaar is incredibly popular. It's an entirely new landmass with some impeccably designed dungeons; but the plot is pretty thin and the conclusion rather nonsensical, with a rather immersion shattering still-image slideshow and credits sequence at the end. A great technical achievement, but not the greatest mod from a story-telling perspective IMO.
LoneWolfEburg
I believe the Falskaar author removed the credit sequence in the later version. Although the plot of the main quest is indeed rather thin (I find the middle of the storyline to be more nonsensical than the conclusion).
Dkboy24
I'm going through Ana NPC 2.0 right now and found that mod adds some really fun and immersive quests. The way your companions interact with other NPC's in the game and even start quests from them is excellent, and the party banter is quite enjoyable. It doesn't reinvent the Skyrim quest wheel, but so far I'm enjoying it. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58357/? Oh yeah, and how could I forget Conan Hyborian Age!! It's not the longest quest line but the dungeon is pretty amazing. This one is a must have for any Conan fan (like me) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40914/? Jeir
Played and enjoyed:Much Ado About Snow Elves. Heard good things about, and intend to play one day (when I build a computer that can handle all the mods needed to stop Skyrim being boring):Shadow of Meresis.Moon and Star.Falskaar.Wyrmstooth.Helgen Reborn.Interesting NPCs. There are a few I played and didn't like, either because they were boring or caused game instability, or both, but as you're only after favourite ones, wont mention them. fraquar
I can deal with the storytelling issue with Falskaar, what is hard to deal with is it is a land where animals are virtually extinct. You can walk from one end of the land to the other and count yourself lucky if you even see 1 wolf. It's like the total opposite of Skyrim. Falskaar has two enduring features to me. a) I can actually roleplay disappearing entirely after the events of Helgen until time cools things off. At the earliest of levels heading to Raven Rock is kinda overkillb) Echo Deep Mine. Like the way he laid that mine out in layers.
