JimboUK
Why not dual boot the two? if not then I'd go with Windows 7, it is a huge improvement over Vista.
mcole254
Windows 7 Professional x64, it has XP mode for old stubborn programs and a vast improvement over vista.
evilneko
Choose the one that best suits your needs. Or don't choose: dual boot. Dual booting also allows you to put off choosing one over the other. There's nothing that says you can't set up dual boot at first, then later decide you want just one, and delete the other one. KDStudios
Windows 7 has got to be the best operating system I have ever had the pleasure to work with.I build computers and sell them so I hear all the issues people have with their computers.Xp hardly had any issues, vista I never stop hearing about and I've only ever had one person have a problem with 7 and thats because he deleted a file he shouldn't have.Get 7 if your system can handle it, you will not regret it.It is absolutely stunning and the settings you can change in it are great. It's also the most duel screen friendly OS I've ever used. But to be frank with you, it depends on what YOU want to use it for.Windows 7 has all the software and gamesLinus... not so much. But is still an amazing operating system anyway, very fast. I will always recommend windows 7, it's definately worth it.It really is what Vista should have been!
