So what kind of fish can you keep with a betta? Anything at all? I was under the impression it was against other male bettas they'd be aggressive.

mmmmm quail, don't mind me but they taste so nice. Still if I had a pet quali I don't think I'd be game to eat one in their company haha.

Read more here. Even if some people say they can be kept with other wish, well it true they can be kept with other fish. Problem is, other fish can't be kept with them. :laugh: Bettas are quite agressive.:unsure:

beautiful tank :) We're thinking of getting these little shrimp that eat algae off our live plants :) Might get some more of those little clear red tetras too :)

 

Romeo's drawer lol...he sleeps in it most of the day...we opened it and stuck his mice there...little kitteh claws! :P

Lol, you have a cat that sleeps in a drawer? I hope I'm not the only one that thinks that's realy funny, becouse it is realy funny.:laugh:

It was just hilarious when he started doing that. I was cleaning the drawer of junk one day. I left it empty for a few days, opened it up, and there he is sleeping in it :P Below the drawers is this huge empty space that's for a bed (big enough to fit a queen size I believe). We live in a studio, but we have a sleeper sofa, so we just pack it full of boxes and junk. He can access the drawer by going into the bed space and hopping up into the drawer. It's hard to explain, old places are weird. There's a nice sized gap behind the drawer so he can squeeze up there. We put all his toys in there and he has a nice comfy pillow I sewed him to sleep on :) Sometimes he comes out with one of his mice in his mouth :P That's his favourite spot. He's got another spot, I call it his "little apartment". There's these cabinets above the bed thingy that he chills in most of the day. Made him a pillow for there too, he just sits up there and hangs out

 

Also loves to lick the ice cubes out of my boyfriend's iced tea glass:

we get a new beta when the old one dies

they seem to get along with small fish, sucker fish, and frogs. We had a beta that didnt like the sucker fish, and they all chase the little fish at one point or another, but for the most part they just hate other betas
