antonkr
My graphic card on my comp is now officially screwed. Even tho thats not a good thing I can now be encouraged to upgrade it.I have a bit less then 300 bucks and I am no expert at hardware. I know that the card that got screwed was nVidia 8800. What do you guys recommend?
mcole254
I would get something that at least has DX11 capabilities which would be ATI 5800 series or nvidia 400 series. After that its kinda prefference of what you want to pay and what you are looking for.
Erik005
If you are looking for a midrange card you should wait until the ati 6000 series. This will be either better than the gtx460 or bring its price down. If you can't wait you should go with a gtx460 1gb, a gtx 465 is also an option if you can get it cheap. Hi, what do you know about the 450. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and I just saw it at a really good price. I also saw a good review on it. But I don't know a lot about these things. Can you tell me anything about it.?
Illiad86
GTX460 is a very nice card :) I'd wait myself for the 6000 series of the ATi cards if you can hold off for a little while. Can't believe it lol...got my 5770 in January...less than a year later...new series coming out...ugh >.< Card's pretty godly though for how affordable it is.
