Balloran
well LOOT totally hosed my load order, and fragged it again after i 'fixed' it. or rather that is what i THOUGHT was happening. it turned out that for me its 2 [3] things, first, STEAM it adds the mods at bottom of load order, when you add them. BAD very bad. NMM for some odd reason when i add a mod it puts it as the very first mod, or very last, and rearranges my load order Every time... I have no idea why, but it isn't as bad now that i stopped adding mods via STEAM Workshop.LOOT has this beautiful Drag n Drop feature that makes reordering it much easier.and that along with it being the BOSS dev's Successor to BOSS makes it better for a Nub like me. tx12001
LOOT is by far superior in virtually everyway shape and form, Im sure I don't need to explain why.
DoctorKaizeld
a good thing people should know about LOOT is that any issues you experience should be taken to the devs so that they can fix it. that is how they find the issues anyways.
halbert520
LOOT is a failure. I've never gotten it to sort the plugins even once without crashing no matter what fixes from the forum I use to try and fix it. It even crashes with all plugins disabled. I've dumped this POS and resumed using BOSS.
blattgeist
LOOT is a failure. I've never gotten it to sort the plugins even once without crashing no matter what fixes from the forum I use to try and fix it. It even crashes with all plugins disabled. I've dumped this POS and resumed using BOSS.So just because you can't get it to work means that it is a failure? Pardon? It works for tons of people and I never had a problem with it. BOSS is outdated. New mods are not being added to its masterlist anymore. LOOT on the other hand not only has an updated masterlist but also sorts plugins intelligently. There are very few cases where I manually have to reposition a plugin (via my conflict resolution patch) after LOOT did its job. That's why people are advised to use Tes5Edit to check if the proper records have priority. Edited December 13, 2015 by blattgeist
