farlin
I recently compleated a daedric god quest, the one in which you have to fake the signs for the end of the world in Borderwatch, and recieved the reward, a staff called the Wabbajack. I have no idea what this does. It says only "wabbajack on target". Can someone tell me what this does?
CJD
it changes horses and other creatures into other creatures, like for example: if u c a horse next to a legion officer, u wabbajack the horse and it will turn into an ogre or a wolf. or anyother creature :D
Michelene
Uh, this topic *might* belong in the Spoilers section... Wabbajack turns anything you point it at randomly into something else; maybe a mudcrab, or maybe a deadra. Can be very helpful on tough bosses! I wouldn't use it on an NPC, tho, because you get a bounty for assault (tho not for murdering whatever you turned the NPC into). Have fun wabbajacking! Wrath_Of_Deadguy
Heh, that's good to know... I tried using it on various NPCs and kept getting my butt sent to prison for it. While the subject of Daedric quest staves is open, what the heck does the Sangune Rose do? I've had similarly unsuccessful results trying to use that on NPCs, and the game isn't exactly forthcoming about telling what the special reward staff effects *do* or to what. Vagrant0
The sanguine rose is similar except that it summons a daedra near the target. This will attack either the target, or you. It's handy in those situations where you have multiple attackers, and want to get away or destract some of them for awhile. Although this can occasionally backfire. Good thing it's a short duration. You can also use this for soultrapping some higher stuff, use staff on a corpse, soultrap then kill whatever spawns.
Switch
This thread definitely belongs in Spoilers. Moving...
cryocry
I hate these Daedra Lords' staves! The Wabbajack, Sanguine Rose, and the Skull of Corruption don't work! So, for me, I would've told you nothing (for me, at least).
Malchik
Far be it from me to criticise others for swearing but please everyone remember that some of the younger members have parents who may look at what they are doing. We really don't want to ruin their fun by having bigoted bible belt parents objecting now do we?

We really don't want to ruin their fun by having bigoted bible belt parents objecting now do we? Then again, why would they let their kids play games w/ killing and evil stuff? I wish those staves would work for me :( ! (censored) Dang staves!
Rhydderch Hael
"Ma'iq thinks that the children are our future. He just believes they shouldn't spoil all our fun..." You might think that the Wabbajack doesn't work on NPCs, but I assure you— it does!. The first time I touched the firm, long shaft that Sheogorath placed into my hands, I cast it at this Dunmer Bandit Archer in Mithril armor who was trying to kill me. Lo and behold, the Wabbajack transformed him! Into a... Dunmer Bandit Archer in Mithril armor. I was just unlucky with the dice roll.
