I feel like he's trying to say that it's racist that a zombie is considered a reanimated corpse but a vampire isn't? But it is, so I dunno...

 

I think of everything in D&D terms. Both a zombie and a vampire go under the same category of "undead," which is any creature that was once alive but has since been reanimated through the use of negative energy.

 

Zombies are, in most cases, mindless undead, so they can hardly even be considered a "race" at this point. Just a type of undead. Being mindless, they have no rights, because they're too busy shambling around and eating things.

 

Vampires, on the other hand, retain their intelligence and most of their racial abilities. However, their means of survival and supernatural abilities prevent them from ever finding a solid place in normal society.

If Zombies could vote...would they or others not protest that there were voting irregularities? If they used computer touch screen the sliminess of their phalanges may cause sliding and voting for the incorrect candidate. If the traditional butterfly punch-card...then as a Zombie pushed the card its arm could fall off...causing the card to not be punched properly and thus an incorrect count or non-counted vote.

Firstly, zombies are the sympton, result of plague or some other effect. They is undead, animated, with no social redeeming features or political concerns.

 

So, it is politically correct to kill them so you can survive? Who cares, blow them away! Zombies don't care. If anything the other zombies will stop chasing you to eat the recently killed one, maybe.

 

As for vampires, the idea that they were anything but soulless monsters, little more than zombies with greater intelligence and more powers, is a pretty new one. Ancient Romans had a kind of vampire that bit noses off to feed on blood. First vampire, Count Dracula, was just an inhuman monster with his three vampiric brides, who fed on peasants and others like fresh cattle.

 

You don't kiss a vampire, you stick a stake in his/her heart or use one of those really cool new water pistol guns to spray them with garlic infused water. Failing that or other tricks, run to the nearest sanctified ground or home and be sure not to invite them in.

 

So, no, it isn't racism.

That is an extremely stereotypical view of things, and is rather offensive. Zombies were people too. And you'd be surprised to know how normal vampires can be once you get past those hurtful stereotypes and disgraceful posers. I'll have you know that it is darn difficult to have a normal life when all you can get is a night job. And, humans kill humans more than these "soulless monsters" do since it's rather hard to feed off a person in this day and age without showing up on the evening news. A life sentence may seem like a measly bit of time to those who aren't immortal, but due to most of these things happening in the daytime, would mean certain death or wide-spread hysteria if any vampire stepped out of line. It's all much more complicated, and crappy than the hollywood depiction you know... Having to change your identity and start over in a new place every 20 years, being unable to have kids, being turned down by all adoption agencies, having your whole identity compared to Count f***ing Chocula, and it being something that you never had a choice about. But zombies have it worse...

 

How would you like it if you were just reduced to being little more than some mindless, ambling, brain chewing abomination, and being shot in the face every time you left the house... You'd get darn tired of it real quick.
