zalba
I have a problem removing an esp from the wrye bash. I moved the mod after the patch, removed it from the data folder, and rebuilt the patch. The patch still recognizes the master though, and the game crashes because of it. How do I remove the master from the bash patch?
Sebiale
Can't you just delete the esp from your data folder?
Smooth613
Deactivate the ESP and/or ESM for the mod then delete it from your data folder. Rebuild Patch, Load game and play.
zalba
All of that has been done, but the bash patch still has the esp in its list.
Fonger
oh the mystery of the deleted file resurrecting automatically Sounds suspiciously like the iron fisted dictator UAC has decided to tell you what is right So just to confirm what directory is your game installed to. Smooth613
Aye, UAC controls you! Anyway yeah, as Fonger mentioned, what's your installation directory? I put my money on... you guessed it, Program Files. :ninja:
MotoSxorpio
GECKO! You can edit the master list. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8665 along with many other useful functions, like merge; create patch; many more.
zalba
My directory is program files yes. After about five minutes of rebuilding a patch, wrye bash gives me this error report. zalba
I have also been having the problem that the game crashes at midnight on a specific day. Previous saves work fine until I reach the same ingame time, where I then get a CTD.
Megatarius
Installing to program files is bad form. If you don't want to reinstall the whole game and all of your mods, you can always disable UAC in the Control Panel of windows. That's causing your first problem. Don't know about the second problem. If you disable UAC, be sure you have a good virus program installed. I use Avast!
