Trouble with naked Aela (dont want her naked) :P

So Ive been using CBBE and CHSBHC together and having a blast except now Aela is weird. Her hair is the wrong color and shes naked (I dont have any kind of make-npcs-naked mod hehe) Here is what it looks like in game:

Did you manually remove whatever aela had in her inventory? Or did you use the console command removeallitems via the ~ key?

no i havent touched her inventory or done any weird console commands concerning her and shes the only one naked that i can tell.

what armor does she wear normally?

She normally wears the ancient nord armor set. I have seen this happening to one of the Kahjiit in the caravans after installing Immersive Armors (though she does have a headband). I haven't seen it in a while though. I also recall having skyre at that time.

Yea I've disabled everything i can think of and she always remains naked. I have no idea at this point.

Do a console command search for nordic armor (if you don't have a set) and equip it- see if you're character is undressed as well.

If you're character is undressed as well, then there's an armor issue- a mod trying to overwrite another mod or etc. issues.

 

If your characters armor isn't invisible, try re-equipping armor with Alternate Actors: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36047/?

WARNING: Before doing this make sure you have creation kit installed!

You will get a brown face bug which can only be fixed with creation kit:

If you opt this route (Alternate Actors)

Open Creation Kit, load Skyrim.esp

Search under characters>actors for Aela

Find aela (make sure there's not more than one by opening preview window)

Press ctrl+f4 then quit don't save changes

So I went ahead and ignored Aela and went to dragonsreach. When I got to the companions place she was there and dressed. I'm just going to pretend that Skjor dared her to go hunting naked and of course her pride made her actually do it, hehehe.

You could go into the creation kit and make a new esp and edit aela,give her the same armour set and place it at the end of your load order. Its not much in the way of resoving the bug but it might be your best bet at covering it up.

Also you could try to use LOOT to sort your mods for you , which may resolve your situation entirely. That is unless you already use LOOT.
