HellsMaster
So i am a pc gamer, but the problem is the new games ask more and more and i cant afford to buy upgrades each time, so i was thinking of buying an xbox 360 elite. My question is, can i plug in the xbox into my pc and play on my screen?OR can i buy a HDMI to VGA cable for the screen (21 inch 1080p non HDMI)? BUT... is there anyway to plug the 360 into my pc and place on my pc screen?
Vindekarr
Im pretty sure there is. It's got standard console plugs, but anything with the three-colour digital/analogue ports will do fine. Secondly, make sure it's the Elite. All the lesser 360 varieties are useless by comparison, the Elite is powerful enough, and has a big enough HDD. It's pricey, but for the HDD full of arcade games that you get, and the extra power, it's an insanely good deal.
evilneko
Monitors often have multiple inputs these days. It should be no problem to connect your console to your monitor. I haven't seen a game worth upgrading for in a long time though, so I'm not sure what the problem is. :whistling:
Eiries
Even in the event that your monitor does not have the proper jacks, you can purchase a 360 to VGA cable that will do the trick. But if your monitor has HDMI, do that for sure. Looks gorgeous. Either way, make sure you get yourself that new-fangled elite model with the new case. Comes with built-in wifi, which separately tends to run somewhere around 100 USD all by itself.

evilneko
Well that's fine, Assassin's Creed isn't worth the disc it's printed on. ;)

jojo man
I have a VGA cable that connects my 360 to my PC Monitor. Works great. It cost me like $20. You can find them all over Ebay
