Hardcore Gememode Reward

Yeah, i know it is supposed to be a special surprise upon finishing it on hardcore, but since this is the spoiler forum and since i care for the story, not the reward, i would like to know if the trouble is worth it.

Only unlocking another achievement would kinda piss me off (even more since it is steam...)

 

So please only answer if it is not directly story related or answer in a way that spoils the reward NOT and i repeat !NOT! the story but the reward itself.

 

If it is story related in any way or telling me would spoil the story, please just close the threat :P

 

 

I'd be happy just to know that it is not only another achievement proving to the world how much of a nerd i can be ^^

I wouldn't use it just to get the reward. I am using because it seems unrealistic that my character would never have to eat, sleep or drink. I like it so far but it is a long way from the Primary Needs mod for FO3.

i also know that playing the game in the higher difficulty jsut for the reward is not the idea.

 

So lets just say i am curious and i can't wait? ^^

I'm playing it on hardcore anyway since this is exactly what i always wanted for FO3. Primary Needs was a bit too hard for me and i couldn't settle myself on only some of the options, so having a fix setting

and even getting a reward is just perfect. It's just that i'd be disappointed if there is really only the achievement to it, especially since in so many countless interviews obsidian didn't tell what the reward would be.

I recently beat this game on Hardcore mode, and I still have no idea what the "special" reward I earned was. Anybody know?

I finished it on hardcore too, but nothing special sadly. But what did you expect? Also, it does not make the game harder, it is annoying, not a fair challange, atleast for me.

The only reward I'm aware of is a Steam achievement. Which you don't get anyway if you use the console.

Pretty disappointing imho.

 

Even though i can understand it with using console, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and FoNV are games where an often usage of the console "jsut happens to happen".

Not necessarily for cheating but for a lot of other things, mostly speed traveling via scaling my Character up (God how often have i died due to a "Rock" i didn't see).

everyone is saying its just the achievement, which is BS because the notice specifically states that you get an achievement AND and special reward.
