Captainradish
I modded the 9mm SMG to change it from a one handed weapon to a two handed one. The way the PC grips the weapon looks good, but the magazine is still in the location it is by default: like it's still being held like a pistol. How can I change the magazine position? WastelandAssassin
ok, you need to understand that there are two different things hereyou have changed the weapon in the GECK, and that's one thingbut the magazine is a part of the model, so to change it's place, you will have to modify the model, and then use NifSkope on it again, so that the reloading animations will work on the new magazines' position this is quite a bit of work to be done, for such a simple tweak, don't you think??
vashts1985
im not exactly sure where you are going with this, a picture would explain it better
Hossinfeffa
I had the same problem, but the magazine was off because I had selected it to be held as twohandhandle. Once I switched it to twohandautomatic it worked fine. Actually nevermind. I just tried it again and it didn't work. :S Edited October 22, 2010 by Hossinfeffa
Captainradish
I understand nifscope reasonably well and am willing to undertake it to make this tweak: I think it looks really nice except for the magazine difference. What needs to be done in nifscope to change the mag position? I took the model, scooted the magazine toward the rear, and it just changed the holstered model. Actually, the reload animation is quite correct: it shows the magazine being loaded into the correct location, but it immediately jumps forward after the animation is complete. Captainradish
Ehh, I decided that the magazine would clip through the players left hand, so I'm giving up on this. I'll wait until 20th century weapons is ported over.
