One of my buddies just bought this game yesterday, brought it home, installed it, and come to find out, it requires steam!! And the problem there is that I do not have internet fast enough to keep steam updated and all that. Or atleast that was the problem that I had on Left 4 Dead. So, now with all that said, I would like to ask few questions and hope that someone can give me a better understanding of what is going on here. First, is everything that I have said so far about steam true when applied to Vegas? Meaning will the game have to update and so on, or can I just install it and play and not have to worry about it? Second, if I do have to use steam, is there any way that I can get around it and play without having to log in or update? Such as a crack for the game, or something along those lines. That is basically all that I can think of to ask. Please, if there is anyone here that can assist me, your help will be greatly appreciated and there might even be some kudos involved since all of what I hear will determine if I buy this game or not. Yes it is helpful if I was to get the game, but my main concern is having to have internet to play the game. Is that a requirement or not? Like will this game have to update with steam and all that? That is my main concern there, but if it does require me to have internet, and there is no way to get around it, then I suppose I will just have to get this on my trusty and truly dusty xbox because either way I am going to play this game.
