Bethesda forum censors working quietly in the background.

I REALLY hate the moderators on the forums over there.

Warned for having an image in my signature. Uhh, okay. Apparently some people's connections can't handle an extra 250kb per pageload.

Warned for having oversized text in my signature. I'm sure that this had nothing to do with the fact that the text was negative towards bethesda.

Warned for "arguing" about which platform is best. This was easily the stupidest. One guy said 360 is better than PC because you can play on your couch. I told him you could with a PC on TV via HDMI then he raged. Somehow I was the instigator.

Banned for bypassing the forum censor. Apparently, using the word "s***" in a post DEFENDING obsidian is a no-no. -_-

Completely IP banned from the forums because I made one comment about piracy, no warnings, no messages, just direct, silent and mercyless ban.

Does yours expire in January of 4747 too?

I just got infracted and put up to 50% warning status because I asked if it was okay for PC users to download the pre order DLC from Nexus or something like that because I had no knowledge on the matter what so ever.

The guy just said "NO" and then locked the thread and infracted me.

THEN I got banned for 5 days because of a post in which I called somebody ignorant. Yes I called someone ignorant. Oh God, Stop the presses Bethesda and ban me quick! Sigh.

I certainly also know what you guys mean about the censoring of posts. At least half of mine have disappeared.. they all seem to be the ones about how buggy the game is and how I am really disappointed in Bethesda for not helping Obsidian more with the horrible engine they gave them to use

I'm just going to post here from now on. Much more civil.

How is glitchy better than buggy?

I stopped posting over there when they locked the anti-Steam thread for being too long and without attempting to address any of the concerns raised in any of the 200+ posts. Of course, I was especially irked by the fact that the last post was someone twisting my words and making me look like an idiot while himself saying something stupid.

There has been so much whining about the bugs that just complaining about it in a post is pretty much considered spam now. I can't blame them, it has been a mess.

I agree. People forget that most, if not all, games come with bugs attached. They either get fixed, or modders fix them. personally, I've had very few issues. The occasional scorp falling through the ground after dying, or the occasional unexplained crash. Nothing game breaking, and certainly nothing worth throwing a fit over. My guess is that these are the same people who said after FO3 was "ridiculously buggy" that they'd never buy a bethsoft product again.

I to agree. I have expierienced only 1 bug in New Vegas that has really gotten on my nerves. Every time I buy stuff from this certain caravan guy, my game either freezes or crashes all togethor. Other than that, my game has been fine. Just some small things that every game has. It almost seems like just because it's Fallout, people are going ape on every little flaw they find. Bethesda rocks and will continue to rock all through the time they make games!

That is quite the unfair supposition. While it might be true for a few. There are definitely some seriously obnoxious bugs. One of which is the game save eating bug. For whatever reason, everytime I close NV, my autosaves are reverted back by like 45 hours or more. I have no idea why or even how, as I have deleted all the old autosaves and quicksaves. Another obnoxious save bug is that for some reason I have 20 #4 saves. As in Save #1, Save #2, Save #3, Save #4, Save #4, Save #4, Save #4, Save #4 and so on and so on. While it doesn't hinder the saves themselves, it is annoying.

There are other bugs as well, missing NPCs and quests that refuse to start for example. But those two are the only ones that pop up everysingle time I play. For other people it'll be different, some people will be fortunate enough to never experience a bug, while others will experience one everysingle time the turn around in game. It is wrong to say "well, I haven't seen X, so clearly you're lying and/or just a whiny baby." Because I could say the same thing about the bugs you experienced.

I don't think anyone is saying that no bugs exist. I experienced the autosave bug myself, but it was fixed after the2nd patch. What we're saying is that EVERY game has bugs that aren't caught before release. If the developers feel it's big enough to spend the time and money to fix it, they will. If not, and it bugs enough people enough, someone will will do a mod that fixes it. FO3 was really much worse, and even after all the patches, the modding comunity still stepped up to fix someittle things. What i'm saying is, give it some time. Enjoy the game for what it is, and watch as it gets better.

Ok, I had that save bug happen to. But, I fixed it. (Re installed game) yeah, its a *censored* to fix but I fixed it. I guess I just have a lot of patients. Anyway, I state my opinions from what I expierience and what I think. Simple as that.
