"Notification Options"???

Hey every1 :thumbsup:

 

As usual I have a hard time getting the search engine in the forums to work so I have to make this post instead :wacko:

 

There are several choices in the "Notification Options", but I have a hard time fully understanding which of these two does what :confused:

 

"Personal Conversation"

 

"Inline Notification"

 

I tried to change some of the options to see if I could get more efficient notification, but ended up with an annoying result and to my horror I can't seem to find a "Reset to default" button anywhere :ohmy:

 

Is there no such feature?

 

 

What I would really like to revert back to the way I had it before.

 

It used to be that when I got a "notification" by the indicator at the small letter icon at the top of the page, I would click on the mail icon and be redirected directly to the topic or PM, but now I get rerouted to another notification saying someone has replied to a post / topic, a copy of the reply and a link to the reply.

 

I have since made an attempt to undo the change, but still can't get it right for some reason :wallbash:

 

So what type of notification does "Personal Conversation" imply?

 

And what does "Inline Notification" imply?

The "Personal Conversation" is just another word for personal message.

 

And the "Inline Notification" should be that Popup which you'll get if you normally receive a p.m., but not shure. Did a forums search for "Inline Notification" and landed here. :teehee:
