Mr.New Vegas vs Three Dog

I prefer Three Dog, but then I have the 100-song More Where That Came From - GNR expansion.

 

I tried to listen to Mr. New Vegas but he is too old, and too dripping with honey if you know what I mean. I tried Conelrad too, but listening to songs that have the word "commie" in every verse gets as old after a while as listening to Big Iron three times in succession.

I found Three Dog a lot more entertain the I do Mr. New Vegas. Wayne's was great in his day and deserves the title Mr. Las Vegas. But the man is old and sounds like he just had a stroke or something. Plus him telling my male character ( i only play males ) that he loves him and the he's Mrs. New Vegas creeps me out. I think they should have hired an unknown voice actor to imitate a younger Wayne Newton. If they had to have a Wayne like character as the DJ. Would have saved Obsidian money and gotten a lot more DJ dialog out of the deal.

I never got the impression that he's address YOU directly. He says that after telling a story about how women keep asking him if there is a Mrs. New Vegas. It's just a generic reply to all his female listeners.

I like Mr New Vegas more, Three Dog was just terrible, his writing was bad and his voice actor was not much better then his writing, not to mention he seemed to think you where the only person in the wasteland.

I personally rather Three Dogs, I hate Mr New Vegas I find him boring and the news he gives barely updates. Love Rhonda and Tabitha though I always have them on when I am in range even though they say the same stuff all the time I still find it funny as hell.

I get some news from Vegas, Primm's new sheriff with an interview, Goodsprings fights back and the spaceship launch.so it's not so bad. Which do I prefer? Well I'm hoping for a mod that opens up more songs and news if it is needed. I do like three dog since you get to meet him but I like the new songs of Vegas too so I call it a split for me.

my honest opinion, mr. newvegas, his choice of song, and his dialogue can go jump out of a 13 story window.

 

three dog atleast had dialogue that actually followed the players progress. guess obsidian didn't think that was necessary but im guessing more than a few people like the fact the the player was getting recognized all over the fake world.

 

while listening to the radio gets old atleast there is a happier variety and more (female ) artists playing in fallout 3, new vegas choice of songs were kind of dull in my opinion add that with the fact that without modding it they repeat the same song so many times its ridiculous.

 

so yeah if fallout 4 comes around ever remember , radio station if they are gonna be there, need to please the customer.

I like both but Wayne Newton is awesome as Mr. New Vegas.
