Massive lag & choppiness

ok so the other day i was playing and i was near the mojave outpost, then i added some fire ammo to my inventory via the console

now, the game perma lags. like it's laggy and choppy almost to the point of it being unplayable D:

it's only getting worse too

the CTD's are getting more and more frequent

and i don't wanna start over cause i'm ALMOST done with the main quest (just need to finish the BoS and then i'll be good. going for independent vegas)

and i KNOW it's not my pc cause it can handle ANYTHING

I DO have a ton of old saves cause of steams cloud engine and my bag (in game) is quite filled with a lot of dups of weapons

my question is... how do i fix the lag if i even can?

starting over would suck so i don't wanna do it until i beat the game again

help! lol

Well, if your problems start after ammo by console, maybe reinstalling your mods that have something to do with ammo might help.

briefly started a new game and THAT File doesn't lag...

i wonder if the gamebryo engine can only handle so much in a single file before it starts to crap out D:

also i wonder if using the console too much contributes to it D:

although... the PCB command helps a bit but i have to do it in every new loaded area D:

ok so i uninstalled a mod i got bored of and it's running smoother. much much smoother

that mod added a crap ton of items to the wasteland and my bag lol

but i still deal with CTD's. but that's normal for me lol

I had the same kind of problems in that area. Needed to do some MP3 voodoo for custom songs I was using in a radio mod.
