4K fixes?

So, I decided to start playing my modded Skyrim in 4k. It works great, besides the rain and a weird "Level Up" Icon on the screen. Any fixes? (In the picture below, I used the "tm" command to remove the "Level Up"). As you can see, the rain is MUCH too heavy, and I'd love to fix that if possible

Looks like you're using an ENB.

 

In your enbseries.ini file (or use the in-game GUI that ENB has):

 

[RAIN]

Enable=false

EnableAntialiasing=true

EnableSupersampling=true

MotionStretch=0.45 ----> edit this value (lower the value than what you currently have)

MotionTransparency=0.65 ----> edit this value (increase the value than what you currently have)

IgnoreWeatherSystem=true

NOTE: In the future, post your mod list (in a spoiler) and/or any post-process programs like ENBs that you have. It helps in diagnosing any issues.

Thanks! I didn't think the mods mattered in this case (especially with 380 some of them), but I should have mentioned the ENB. I forgot that affected the rain. But, what about the "Level Up" icon on screen? Any known fixes for that?

What does this level up icon look like? You'll also need to post your load order as there are no level up icons in the base game.

It is in the base game, I just made the mistake of calling it an "icon" when it's just text, sorry.

Yes, it is in the base game. It appears near the top, not near the bottom right, that's why it's so confusing that it got there.

If you still don't believe me, go into your own game and type "advskill block 10000" in the console, and you'll see it pop right up. It is in the base game, it's not added by one of my mods, and it would be wonderful if you believed me about it by now.

That last pic is of the base game level up text. The one with the text in the lower right is not the base game.

 

You must have a modification that has made a change. If it were the base game, everyone would be finding the level up text in the lower right. Therefore, logic dictates that it is caused by some modification. Either something you did yourself or something from a mod you installed.

 

The only true way to know would be to uninstall your mods, restore your game to vanilla status. Then check the game without any modifications at all for this elusive lower right level up text.

 

Personally, I suspect a mod. You can suspect whatever you want. No one will know until the game has been tested on a clean slate with a systematic approach to testing each of the mods within your list.

Not a mod, mine does the same thing at dsr 4k.

The game wasn't designed for 4k. Playing it in 4k is a modification. Might not be a downloaded mod but it is still a mod. If the OP wants a fix they'll need to look into the HUD mods that allows the various text to be re-positioned. There is no guarantee that anything can fix it.
