Vindekarr
You mean Steam actualy noticed you're a user? that's never happened before. My Steam account was wrongfully accused of hacking some time ago and I had to fight tooth and nail just to get the scum to return my calls. Im glad for you Antonkr, but your story does not fit at all with the psichiatric profile of Valve that I have. In my experience they are lazy, foul mouthed, will do anything NOT to help you, and even when they must help you, will try and make you suffur for putting them through trouble. Forget not what they did to the some 17,000 COD MW2 players wrongfully banned for cheating(while millions of actual cheats escaped) a handful got the promised apology and copy of L4D2. the rest got nothing. I wasnt even re-instated. My Steam account is only partialy running. Two hacks, and Valve's stubborn refusal to do their job properly, have caused it to be barely functional. You may have been treated well, but I know hu8ndreds who have not been so fortunate.
antonkr
Well Vindekarr I always seemed to have luck with any tech support out there. No matter what happens it just takes me one civil email to get everything back and running. Ive heard about MW2 players ban. I don't know why the system is so complicated and hard to unban someone from it. Even if your account gets stolen and gets VAC banned, even if you are lucky enough to get your account back you still don't get the VAC ban repealed. I was lucky to have everything back. Not a single game lost.
Pushkatu
I have steam since 2006 and I had no problems with it, but I only use it to play counter-strike.
Balagor
I have Steam too. I have yet to encounter those issues often mentioned. I think it works ok.
Arkitektbmw
I always tread very lightly when I'm messing around with my steam games. Seeing as I've got some 86 games on there I'd be highly pissed if anything were to happen to it.
