Mercbird
Talking about silver spoons in the eye...er mouth, the two clans in The Imperial city, Sintav and Atius of Elven and Talos districts respectively. Can anyone hear the Romeo and Juliet soundrack playing? So I talk to them all and intrude on their privacy (read loot all the wine in the cellars) and find a love letter (clutterloveletter no 03) on Iniel Sintav's desk, but alas no star struck lovers. I have yet to find a letter amongst the clutter of the Atius females to reciprocate so we have a a mystery love...(who seems to get around cause I've seen that letter in lots of places!) ;)

Rhydderch Hael
Another Dark Brotherhood-related Easter egg: visit Applewatch after the quest there is finished, and you'll see five tombstones.;) When Cassie-the-assassin decided to make a sword that visually fit with her Cheydinhal Lieutenant's outfit, she was hard-pressed trying to find a vendor who would sell her a plain Steel Longsword, and she couldn't count on maruaders or vampires dropping one for her (at that stage, it's all Glass and Ebony from those guys). Then it struck me: where can I find a Steel Longsword just laying around? The gravesite at Applewatch, of course! Kind of a wicked turnaround of Fate: the sword of a slain Guard officer is taken and re-made to become the sword of another Guard officer. Would have seemed noble and heroic, except for the little fact that the new owner of the sword just happened to be the old owner's murderer. Rhydderch Hael
I don't know if this was a random response, but during "Blood of the Daedra" in the Main Quest, I chose to give Martin the Sanguine Rose as the Daedric artifact to use in the quest. When he recieved the Rose, he said that he once owned it, briefly, in what felt like a lifetime ago. Which made me wonder just what exactly did he have to do in order to gain the Rose. Can anyone confirm that the Sanguine Rose is the one and only artifact that Martin has dealt with? An earlier incarnation had given him the Ring of Namira— no such response as that with Sanguine's Rose. I hate to think what he'd have to do in order to have dabbled with the Ebony Blade, for instance...
Malchik
You know all those beer barrels that are there purely for decoration. Well the one in J'Ghasta's house in Bruma contains a complete set of DB clothing you can get at any time if you can pick the very hard lock. Anyone know of any more? Rhydderch Hael
When (and if) you do the "Allies for Bruma" mission in the Main Quest, how often do you gain the support of all (or most) cities before ever setting foot in Bruma again? Role-playing circumstances in my latest character had me coming back to Bruma after securing the support of only one city, listening to the despair in the voices of both the lone contingent and Captain Burd as they realized that only one city offered their support to defend Bruma so far. When I secured the second city (Bravil), I traveled again to Bruma to make sure Viera actually survived the journey (first time I ever fought the Battle of Bruma, Viera wasn't there because a bear killed her on the Silver Road to Bruma). With two cites under my belt, Viera remarked that "...some is better than none...". Only after I began securing more and more support did Captain Burd's mood brighten. When I garnered all support, I was unable to hear any praise on the matter because the quest (and the pertinent conversation topic) finishes when you secure the last city. Abramul
Here's one for you...make sure your most recent save isn't an autosave first. Start a new game.Once the group has exited your cell, open the console, and type TCL.Turn left (right angle) relative to the cell doorGo straight downWalk past the disarticulated bodiesturn around My guess is that all these are here for purposes of preloading. Does anyone know if that's correct?
Mercbird
Martin does mention that he 'consorted with' daedra before became a priest... I also see that he would like to put the Mythic Dawn agents in the fire. If he gets hold of them.
