Did you know...

Starting a new character this week, an unusual circumstance came about thanks to my character's extremely low level (Level 3). After completing the "Knights of the White Stallion" questline, I took the customary dive through Rockmilk Cave to cash in on the Black Bows within.

The Bandits and Marauders within are leveled, of course, and with my character at Level 3, these guys aren't sporting any good equipment or health levels...

With one exception, of course. The Black Bows being wielded by the Bandits aren't leveled and are far and above superior to the Iron weapons and armor that the Maruaders had on at this time. I'm used to doing these dwells at higher levels where the playing field is skewed towards the Marauders' advantages (Glass and Ebony weapons versus the Steel-like Black Bows).

But at the lower levels, the Bandits easily carried the day. I mean, they were dropping the Marauders with one- or two-shot kills. I'm used to seeing these fights carry one for a while— most were over before I could take stock of the combatants.

When you do the quest in Anvil with the all-girl bandit group, there are objects lying all over the place that belong to the men in Anvil...I don't think there's a single one those three girls haven't robbed...too bad you can't give them back to their original owner,or much better, to their their wives...I can only imagine the grin on my female char while handing Heinrich Oaken-Hull's pants to his wife...

Maybe you thought all Oblivion gates where the same?

Well go near Bogwater, SE from Leyawiin, there is one (or maybe two) Oblivion gates that have weird names...I can't remember the names, but I can remember being disappointed as these gates don't even link to an "original" Oblivion Plane (ie not one of the 6 or 7 you usually get in, and that you may be able to do with your eyes closed if you have the habit of getting sigil stones just for fun...)Hey that could be a mod idea...

Oh and if you're not yet Listener, you might want to go to Bravil to see, every evening aroud 18, the same wood elf going to the Lucky Lady...Well he's the current listener (I don't remember if he's essential, so maybe the "lawful good" characters may do the world a favor, and rid it of the DB listener...could be fun)

Ungolim is marked as essential, so no luck.

You can take out one of the undercover Speakers with no problem, however.

  • 2 months later...

try this out ;)

i haven't saw it myself (but i will):

A big mudcrab

On the road NE from Skingrad to the Imperial City is a cave called Greenmead Cave. Inside is a very well fed Mudcrab

(this you may already know)

Infinite Gold from Dorian

Kill Dorian in the Imperial City after bribing him and making him dislike you. Then bribing more... this may take a couple of minutes.

Now kill him, quietly, too much racket attracts guards. When you go to collect his gold it does not go away - infinite gold!

Need Arrows?

When you are in the Arena Bloodworks usually the Blue Team Gladiator is shooting arrows at the training target. So if you stand by the side of the training target you can collect all of his arrows (iron). They are INFINITE

Suicide Troll

Floating in the water directly under the bridge over the Silverfish river (or Panther River). Read the note once you've looted the body; trolls have feelings you know!

Oh and by the way take a look a this http://www.katsbits.com/htm/articles/obliv...#skingrad_house

i also used this website: http://vgstrategies.about.com/od/xbox360ch...livionHints.htm

Ps: almost evrything here was quoted, so if you want you can go see those website

*dread guy*

Did you know that in the DB quest line, if you take the head of the mother's traitor in the lighthouse and drop it inside Applewatch, the traitor will react to it when you talk to him?

Need better arrows than the above gives you?

Go to the Inn of Ill Omen  and, if you wait a while, a Imperial Legion Forester will start to practice his archery, he's a pathetic shot btw, and, get this, he uses Steel! this was a great help to my (new) archer char.

Need to keep the arrow you've already got drawn on your bow? You know, that Stormcall Arrow that's coated with a Triple-Damage Poison nocked out on your enchanted Ebony bow? That last fellow was so scared at the fearsome sight of you with your bow drawn and aimed straight at his face, he dropped dead with shock (or from the poison of your previous shot). Now, you're going to have to trot around like an idiot with this arrow tensed on your bow until you can find a new target (and pray that said target isn't a Storm Atronach!)...

...or you could simply Dodge.

Journeyman Acrobatics + Marksmanship = an ability to save your shot. If you dodge, flip or roll with an arrow drawn on your bow, you will actually remove the arrow from the bow and preserve everything. You'll hear the whistle of a shot going off, but you actually keep the arrow, the poison, the enchantment charge and the repair state of the bow.
