it killed my game i cant run game i tried using it with new mod manager crash i tried just steam crash i tried hitting the nvse exe to run it crash my game is now just wasted space on my hd these are the mods im using with the mod manager i have installed from nexus[X] FalloutNV.esm

Incidentally, that Rikai Hair Pack is another mod that's been locked down. Was the author stealing that too?

idk i installed it when it first came out was only hair pack at the time

Hmm... I installed it into the Fallout New Vegas directory (the C:Program Files: one, not Steam) and whenever I try to run nvse_loader it tells me to update fallout, and also the file "nvse.dll" is missing... anyone else with this problem? Perhaps stemming from my non-Steamness? Thanks!

Whenever I try to run nvse thru Steam it just tells me to update fallout instead.... was there a patch for NV that I didnt know about? Or did I just install it wrong?

To run NVSE the New Vegas folder HAS to be in the steam common folder to run.

 

Edit: and you may need to update NV.

NVSE does not and probably never will work with "Non-Steam" versions of the game.

So I just move the entire NV folder into the Steam/steamapps/common folder correct? Or am I eternally screwed?

NVMM runs outside of the game. Run NVMM, make any changes needed to load order and do whatever else you need to do. Then close NVMM - all changes will be saved to the game. Now start the game using NVSE. I'm sure there will soon be an update to NVMM just for this. And hopefully an option for the 4gb enabler as well.
