Solgath Posted March 6, 2015 Share Posted March 6, 2015 this occured to me while watching gopher play skyrim, there is an old ruined home near whiterun, pretty much short walk from the western watchtower, and was wondering if there was any mod or someone who could make one to rebuild this place and make it into a player house? be something like that build your own home mod, but right near whiterun. so, yeah, anyone know of a mod that can do this, or someone who can make one? Solgath Posted March 6, 2015 Author Share Posted March 6, 2015 (edited) so far as i know, hearthfires does nothing to that ruined house or even dawnguard so far as i know, never had to go there for any quest i have ever done in over 600+ hours of playing, which is why i thought it would be good to make, i did another search and found a mod that does what i have in mind, but it seems a bit, i guess basic for what i was thinking, this is the place i mean: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54773/? but yeah, if i knew how to even make a player home on the scale of "build your own home" mod i would make it myself, i hope someone will be kind enough to take this idea and make something cool, cause tbh, what i have seen is rather simple. oh yeah, completely forgot about that totally out of place portal 2 core mod that beth made, never used it so didn't even know it was in that area, still, not a custom housing mod, which is what i'm after, one that is a little more up to date, allows for themeing, adoptions, and all that fun stuff :P Edited March 6, 2015 by Solgath Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Solgath Posted March 7, 2015 Author Share Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) had a look at that one, not really what i'm after either, as i said in my post, something like the build your own house mod, but for that specific house, the other mods, are rather old, and don't appear to support some of the newer stuff, like hearthfires or multiple adoptions. all these mods you are linking are all about upgrading the watch tower to have a town, or a vender store, that's not what i'm after, i can't make it any clearer, i'm looking for a customable player home, upgrade options, and allowing you to build it from the ground up, just like the build your own home mod, this mod, is great, but it's rather remote and in the middle of no where, this place on the other hand, has a nice location, and is within walking distance of whiterun, for those that don't like city life, this place would be perfect :D Edited March 7, 2015 by Solgath Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
