Fallout new vegas DLC exclusive for xbox

I'm working on the assumption that the first DLC is a timed exclusive. Certainly, I wouldn't be at all surprised if a PC (and PS3) version was announced in January or February.

 

Why does M$ keep *bleeping* Windows game players? If it wasn't for games Apple would have a much larger percentage of the personal computer market.

Nope, Windows' popularity is pretty much entirely due to is popularity in businesses. I'm guessing M$ wants people to buy a 360, so that they totally control their games and extract more money from them. Plus, they get to thumb their nose at Sony.

If it says exclusive, I doubt the PC will get in as early as 2 months. Better to wait for game of the year edition or end of contract.

Pretty sure it was confirmed in a few places that MS bought the early-exclusivity rights to Bethesda DLC for a few years, recently. It's all about the money, unfortunately. MS sees a chance to guide people toward their system, and figure it's a decent price, to dish out the money to get DLC before other platforms. I doubt they care that it pisses off users of other platforms. Screw the rules, I have money, eh?

I'm not sure if they will release it eventually, but there must be a valid reason for why it's being made exclusive.

I suspect the explanation is "hospitality". Whether or not that's a euphemism for something more unsavoury is a matter of opinion, but it does indeed make little sense to either alienate the larger segment of one's customer base or attempt to re-release the DLC once its moment has passed, depending. :mellow:

There's no money in PC gaming for Microsoft, they much prefer bleeding console players dry. Earlier this year Microsoft said they were going to start backing PC gaming, the first thing they did after that was delay Fable 3 for the PC.

I really start to hope that some genius somehow can port it to PC. I would highly doubt it will happen but if we can get our hands on it for free it will sure piss bethesda/obsedian off and hopefully they will learn their lesson.

I never get DLCs, myself. I always go straight to GotY edition after that comes out.

 

I have to say that I derive a lot of shameful joy in lurking on the Xbox tech forum the day these DLCs come out. That makes for some very entertaining reading.

I'm not rebuying New Vegas just to have some DLC's, thats just dumb, I mean I really like New Vegas, but I don't like any game enough to buy it for full price twice.

PS3 graphics are not better than XBOX 360, PS3 have crappy Geforce 7800 inside by the name of RSX, while XBOX 360 have ATI Xenos gpu and that was first gpu that is bulid on Unidentified Shaders and it can do 4x AA.

 

Whoever is doing this DLC will piss off both PS3 and PC owners.

Thats just very unfair and Micosoft is doing everything he can to sell more Xbox 360.

 

Where is in that that famous GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE???
